You got that right, brother! As a single mother I made it through nursing school while working, too. Never got a dime in child support. I was disabled with rheumatoid arthritis, had to quit nursing, so I went to my second love- antiques. Became a successful antique business until the bottom fell out of the market. I recently turned 60, now with multiple sclerosis, too, I had to reinvent myself again, so I'm opening a vintage Barbie store on eBay. There's an old sayin, "Don't be afraid to go out on a limb, that's where the good fruit is", I like that. My strong faith in the Lord gives me strength and courage to keep moving. My mom wants a screened in patio, and later upgrade and put windows in- my first check from my eBay sales will allow me to build it for her. I just know that. I'm not sure why these kids today don't seem to have ambition. Since Trump' s been in office the economy will start picking up, hopefully. It is said that more millionaires are made in times of economic depression, it's that old, "Necessity is the mother of invention" thing. I believe in American ingenuity, we need to bring industry back to our country; start a business in the garage, spare room, choose something you love. Time to get our country back from the hands of tyranny. My father became fugitive who died at age 84. I was not there. No jobs, Persecutions, oppressions, people disappeared and silenced. They allowed my sister to teach. Her salary of a month is worth for a bowl of soup. 5 yards of fabrics a year. Everything else came from black markets.Children still stand around street corners selling gums instead of being at schools to help put foods on the tables. I’m glad I was able to get out til late 20s. Went to colleges with dictionaries, no grants or financial aids. I’m now retired at 62. Very grateful and lucky that so many didn’t. Never COMMUNISM! God gives us joy by giving us the fruit of our labor, but that joy is stolen under socialism. Marx thought labor was a bad thing. Sweden became so poor that it had to go back to capitalism, but not enough to where the country can grow and become wealthy through individual entrepreneurship.
