To me , they look more like a creepy pasta character or like you said , looks more like a dnd or some thing rather than weird core , I think who ever made the challenge or what ever doesn't seem to really know much about weird core other than the multiple eyes & wings things plus other features some times but there's more to weird core than that 😅 But agree , they still have a cool / good looking character

Maybe they have multicolored splotches on their skin? Sorta vitiligo style, I'd recommend using white or black as the base and then doing the other colors for the spots. EDIT: or do freckles.

I feel like the last two things are "stackable" options (for example, if you like cartoons and horror you get both claws and floating limbs, if you wear pastels and black but separately you get a pastel suit, etc)
The sibling thing is confusing for me. If you include biological siblings, I have one. If you include half siblings as well, I have three. If you include only siblings that live in the same house as me, that's two.

This was a fun art exercise, helped with art block. Eyes based on eye color was a little sad, but mainly because brown eyes are so common, but I ended up rolling extra eyes anyway. Other ideas are slime, tentacles, horns, scales, tails, teeth, or flowers/gemstone infections. You can try drawing based on a mythical creature, or draw something that could be a predator or prey to that mythical creature. Ex: Instead of taking inspiration from a mermaid do a sea leviathan or a jellyfish/sea angel mer.
