People STAY sleeping on Tori Kelly! She's got amazing vocals and I LOVE those tones. Whitney? I can't say enough about her vocals. Gone too soon. Mariah has had some bad vocals at times but when she's on she's ON. I love the way Beyonce has fine tuned her voice. Seeing the growth in her vocals is something else. Demi Lovato is inconsistent ALL the damn time. Christina Aguilera is inconsistent alot of the time but when she's not trying to oversing and outsing her toned down vocals are also amazing.

Her pitch faltered slightly and her musicality has always been a weakpoint. Her musicality is no where near as complex and interesting like Aretha, Beyoncé or Mariah Carey. It's not that she's bad, just that these others are better in this aspect.
The issue is that she lowers her Larynx to change her texture and make her sound more soulful and closer to Whitney’s natural tone because she’s really a Lyric Soprano and her tone is closer to Celine and Demi Lovato so your not wrong
Christina Aguilera has always been overrated. She tries too hard to imitate soul. She can sing, but she over does it every single time. She's definitely gotten better over the years, but she still sounds like something is lodged in her throat.
