Haha yes! It caught me out on initial release. It's all drawn with vector coordinates meaning it takes up bugger all space in cart ROM compared to tile data. It's a great space saver for those willing to work with animation in this style!

Always was a fan of Oh Mummy, and this new version Genesis looks ace. I like the flooded levels where you can't see where you've trod. Xenocrisis, oh YES! Tanglewood is adorable. L'Abbaye des Morts has proper medieval stuff in it! Cathars! Huzzah! Technoptimistic is lovely to look at... but XENOCRISIS!
L'Abbaye des Morts seems boring, and so does Tanglewood. Do not get me wrong, they are pretty games with good music, but there are things that just...do not do it for me in the terms of retro games.
Great video! My list would probably be, in no particular order: Demons of Asteborg, Tänzer, Beggar Prince, Star Odyssey, Xeno Crisis, Brave Battle Saga, Ultracore, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Papi Commando and Gleylancer.
I had beggar prince once upon a time but it had some nasty bugs so I sold it! You've a few games on there I've missed because of being broke at the time of preorder! Asteborg should get here in June I hope!

Great video, proud to say these are all in my collection! Such great developers. And I can’t wait to add your works to it. Although personally I don’t think 1985alternativo deserves attention. Their communication and service is atrocious. And they took my money for Megagames Almanac and Griel’s Quest and disappeared. It’s been 3 years.
Genesis became one of the retro systems with the most Indie titles released/being developed for. As a genesis fan It makes me very happy.

You should check out CivGen, Civilisation 1 for the Sega Genesis. It's in alpha but already pretty amazing.
