Great thrift finds! Our local stores charge more than retail stores. The vintage coffee grinder is a great find. People love them for coffee bar display. I have had mine for 35 years. Just oil the wood to make it pretty. Love the hutch! I want one so badly! The set of 4 farm animal plates are definitely useable year round. Try mounting them onto a barn board!
You did well Heather. I’d buy the love you dearly mug 😊 cute. An idea for your mushroom chipped mug…pin cushion maybe? Good luck with all you have on at the moment 👏
Heather what a great haul. You have some awesome finds. I cant pick a favourite but the little plates with the farm animals comes in as a good 1st for me but there’s so many it’s too hard to pick. The felted animal heads, if they are hand made it would have taken someone a long time to make them. I’ve done needle felting before and my stuff never looked very good but would have improved if I’d kept doing it. I was having lessons with a few other ladies and I was great fun. I do know how hard things are to make though. I love those heads too. The cats on the books is adorable and such a great find. Have a great week.
Amazing haul! I enjoyed the video and would love to see more in the future! My local thrift stores don’t have nearly as many “ready to go to the booth” items like that. ❤
It can depend on the season around here and I know we just had a bunch of neighborhood garage sales that I am pretty sure they just donated what is leftover! Gotta grab it while the thrifting is good!
Great hauls!! My faves are the crown and the lantern. I love crowns! You look so happy and so excited, Heather. Yes, I do love seeing your girls in your vids (and Henry!). I look forward to seeing what you do with the project pieces. Way to go, girl!!
Heather, I just love listening to the intro music and settling into your projects or thrift hauls! They are calming after my stress filled days. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us!
Oh my goodness! I just love watching you. I lived in Marietta for 20 years and had to move back to Indiana to take care of my parents 6 years ago. They've now passed away and I miss GA so much. I'm glad you're doing so well at your business. I've been learning quite a bit from you and Sonnet, so I hope to open my own booth this summer. Keep sharing your finds and your flips with us. I also love seeing your girls, they are the cutest kids ever. Looks like they might join you some day, you never know. Thank you again for your ideas and hope to be as good as you someday. 😊❤❤
Thank you so much for being here! 🥰. Love me some Sonnet too!! My oldest girl is ready to keep adding to my content and I feel like it’s such a good learned experience for her! She is realizing how much work goes into this and it’s been eye opening for her! 😜
By the way I love seeing Henry as well. My husband and I are animal lovers. We have 3 little Yorkers that we wouldn't trade for the world. So keep showing Henry as much as you can. 😊
An idea for your Christmas mugs...set up a faux coffee/ hot cocoa bar! Add a tiered tray with little bottles for add in to hot cocoa, stir stix, and cookie & cake ornaments! I love the idea of things you just have to clean up and display (all your white stuff). Mount the 4 little farm animal plates on wood squares and sell as a set. So much creativity!! TFS.😊❤👍
Great hall Heather, you take the tiny plates and make a board and put pegs in it to hold the plates so everyone can see them and sell it all together, maybe paint it white or green something that would show all the details of the plates. You could even attach them with ribbon. The silver pitcher, it should say on the bottom if it's sterling it's real if it says silver plated then it's not solid silver. I stopped at a yard sale today and got some old utinsils and a small very old coffee grinder, 4 solid would rounds perfect for closh bottoms, some baskets. I got quite a lot $20 for 2 box's of stuff. I can't wait to here your news. God bless
Ok, I love felt too! I really like the little felt balls that are like Pom poms but I never know what I would really do w them! Those little plates would be cute mounted on some wood squares, like pallet wood but like maybe 10x10 or whatever size would be appropriate for the size of the plates.
Let me just add to that comment I painted the box, white and distressed. I left all the black… :-) I change out of flowers for each season in the drawer. I love that piece. So excited for you and your new booth!!
Great haul. Love that you are telling us if it’s staying as is or being redone. I’ve sometimes questioned if I should put some items in my booth that could be repurposed by others because there is no way I can get to everything in my stash. If someone finally comments on the tarnished silver pot, please mention in your video as I’d like to know about it too. I’ve seen beautiful up cycles on them.
Oh my gosh girl, I have the same old coffee grinder. I have never looked it up either. It was my 80 year old mothers and was always in our house. When I was growing up, I painted mine white and distressed it and put flowers in the drawer on display in my house, I love it because it’s part of my childhood. Do not know what it’s worth. everyone that sees it always wants it. It will definitely sell! But for sure, look it up… :-) I wish I knew how to send pictures I would send you one of mine :-)
Wow! what agreat deal on the hutch! can't wait to see what you do with it! Love all of your purchases! It would be so hard for me not to hold on to thing if I was flipping like you! LOL!
Great finds. My general rule of thumb is if it has some value on it's own I leave it alone. I usually only upcycle items that need a paint job or something in order to make money. I prefer to just tag and put out to increase profit but still enjoy upcycling when I have time.
All great finds! You had a SCORE Week! That is a coffee grinder and I pick up puzzles at the thrift stores too when they are unopened! Yall have fun putting it together!
Great haul! I love vintage and antique tarnished silver pieces. If the silver is marked "quadruple plate" it is antique and made before 1915. It's not worth as much monetarily as actual silver but it's the age that gets me every time 😍
I’d paint the crown and then maybe display a clay pot of greenery. Price each individually in case the customer doesn’t want both. Thanks for the mug tip. I get so aggravated thrifting them because when I find one i like, it’s chipped or broken. Great tip for other comment for mushroom mug, make a pin cushion. I was thinking faux planter with IOD mushroom mould cast as a plant pick.
When I saw the felt guys, I immediately thought… take a 22-24” board, drill peg holes and mount the cute little felt guy in the middle as a focal point w maybe 2 wooden pegs on either side to hang stuff. For the plates, I thought of a shutter to display them (almost like a standing dish rack of you can visualize that but maybe make it a shelf with the plates displayed in the shutter slats
WOW u did fabulous😊 I ❤ seeing your girls enjoying crafting. I can’t pick one favorite. I hit some great yard sale items this weekend for my booth. Brand new to the booth world
Heather, it’s definitely a coffee bean grinder, probably worth about $22-25. Unbelievable haul.I saw Sheri on Canterbury Cottage turn one of those mail holder things into a charging station and I have been looking for one ever since. Thanks for sharing your wonderful haul. Enjoyed!
I like the little felt animal heads. maybe if you could get the wood rounds and attach them they would look more substantial. they sell the rounds at hobby lobby
Great things. If shipping wasnt so expensive to Australia i would have asked you to sell me the farmyard plates. I just love them. I saw on a cooking show the lady used a frinder like that for pepper.
Going to paint it…do something else pretty fun on it and put a really high price on it to be a display in my booth. May sell one day but really want it to be a shop topper display piece for a minute in the booth!

Whoever was pricing that day was feeling super generous!!
I love old silver plate and I leave them as is. The tarnish is beautiful.
Thank you!
fantastic finds. The biggest problem with jigsaws (apart from the cat knocking pieces on the floor) is when a brand new jigsaw has a piece missing!!!
