In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

My mom made me a Raggedy Ann doll from a pattern when I was like 13. Way too old for it by then, bless her, but I still have it 40 years later! So happy to see how excited your daughter was to receive that wand. 😁

I loved the bicycle bookends and alphabet puzzle. My daughter in law is an elementary school teacher. Both would be great in her classroom.
that pottery mug with the strange handle is a "hand warmer mug". you wrap your hand around and into the handle. I have seen them in specialty pottery stores and in Mast General.

Hi Jessica. I just spent all day thrifting and now what am I doing but eating a late dinner & watching your thrifting video! I quite liked the bicycle bookends that you looked at. I have a lot of books, so probably would have bought those as I would make good use of them. So happy that you found the wand for Hannah. I can imagine how delighted you would have felt finding it and then to see your daughter so amazed and happy getting it! Great score! I briefly chatted with another shopper in one of the stores I was in today and she said she was looking for just the bottom part of a crystal butter dish because her husband had broken that part. I think she was feeling a bit hopeless about ever coming across one, but I told her to just picture what she wants and eventually she will find one. I told her that has worked for me. I don't think you have found the vanity/dresser you want for your Marilyn room (unless I missed that video), but I'm sure you will find exactly what you want one of these days! Stay well!
I love the glaze on the hand warmer coffee mug, I think that’s what I would have bought.

Oh yes I know right! They are so crazy expensive at universal studios. 😱 I think the cheapest ones they have are like $30 and they go up from there. Hannah was definitely happy I found her one for a great price. ☺️👍💗
I've learned over time that many vacation souvenirs end up in thrift stores. One-off items that fall out of favor after you get home. Glad the wand is ready to bring magic to its new owner!

I love to thrift shop. I’ve redone my kitchen to farmhouse decor and what pieces I didn’t have on hand from my mom, my grandmas, and pieces of my own, I’ve found from Goodwill, Salvation Army, an antique store & even a free store in my area. My mom had the blue heart canister. This is the 2nd thrift store video I’ve seen today that had items just like hers. Thank you for sharing and taking me down memory lane. I loved your daughter’s reaction to her new piece. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos.

The bike bookends are great! I'm surprised they didn't price them together as a set. I bought my first niece a giant Raggedy Ann, when Melissa was two. She pulled it out of the box and had a grand time building a fort with the box. I like the blue triangular ash tray, which would be great for jewelry or anything small. So glad Hannah got her wand!

Hi there! Scored a late 1920's floor model radio on FB last week for only $40. I just finished making wood knobs for it as the originals were missing. I guess this is my new hobby now LOL.

Aww, peanut looked so adorable, and Hannah's reaction was lovely. I'd have bought that wand for my daughter as well. I would have bought the bike bookends for my Dad. I liked the fairy behind the blue piece of glass, the plate next to the orange piece of glass, the heart pot and mug, the kitty cat mugs, and the vintage dresser.

I had a Raggedy Ann doll as a child. I was crazy about her too. Unfortunately one of my three little sisters scribbled all over its face in magic marker. My mom tried but couldn’t get the stains off. I was devastated. But somehow I managed to carry on.😂 I loved those bicycle book ends. ✨💖✨

6:21 I wanted to buy a long shoe horn as I am getting old. Amazon prices were more than I wanted to pay. Turns out that a long plastic spoon I never use in my kitchen drawer works perfect LOL. I spent no money :)

I have a dresser very similar to the one in the video that belonged to my grandparents. It had a mirror but the frame, not the glass, has broken and is not repairable. I got it in 1985 and who knows how long my grandparents had it!
