Even an arm amputated monkey can catch a hungry bass. There is no "how are those young guys doing it". He didn't control his cast, the lure flew wherever the wind was carrying it and dropped right in front of the basses mouth. The rest are instincts and reflexes.
My 7 year old picked up my bait caster said he wanted to use it. I quickly got mentally ready to deal with a mess. He threw it for 90 minutes and didn’t bird nest once. Throwing the lure 60 foot. So surprised and proud of the kid.

Yeah kid asked me to adjust the brakes on his combo so he could cast further so I was then before I know it he’s done casted both my combos and put a major backlash in each one I was like hell naw that’s sabotage lol 😂😂
Norm norm norm. I bought a new pdl fishing kayak and used it for the first time yesterday on the Tennessee River. I live right on the river. I caught 5 large mouth over 2 pounds and 1 huge crappie. I used some of your fishing techniques and wanted to say thank you. 😊 👍
I'm 42 been fishing since I was kid for bass. Just this summer i finally broke the 6 mark with one about 7 to 7 1/2 pounds lol nice catch. I still backlash some too even with the new easier casting magnetic break systems, pros backlash lol it happens. Norm you should try a really old school baitcaster like a abu garcia ambassador, I still use them no breaks at all just spool tensioner to help slow the spool.
