that build is cracking, love it ! case looks quite elegant from the front and side - top job that, never gave cougar much attention. love the new studio too james
Looks a nice clean build. Not messed around with cable cover keeps it clean looking. The black version looks awesome 👏 Had me planning tube routing while watching 😆
lovely build that, you make it look effortless james. its not a bad case, but they are going to have such a tough time in a crowded market. Who even sells cougar in europe? never looked, I shall go forth and google
Excellent review. Saw this white variant of the Cougar MX600 RGB in store here in Australia. It looks like a fantastic case that's so easy to build in and easy to maintain. The front panel seemed very sturdy, when messing with it on display, so it might be something they fixed? Airflow is important for me so glad it performs well. I wanted black and they just sold the last 2 "that day"! Ad not re-stocking. Managed to pick one up online elsewhere, so stoked about that. I'm looking forward to either building a B650E/X670E 7800x3D build in this. However it can wait, depending on what the 800 motherboards offer with a 9800x3D when they are announced.
RGB with a nice understated white case like this, is pretty attractive. agreed with your intro, i never expect too much from cougar, and never have. but this is pretty much nailing it.
love the look of that case from the front, very very clean. im as impressed as you are mate. looks well with the AIO and board you picked. white builds are the way to do. unless they turn yellow in a few years. lol.
Thank you for the review. How easy is it to remove the fan hub? From the close shot at 10:28 it looks like it's held in by two screws, but is there also that double-sided adhesive tape behind, like some hubs use?
I don't remember if I already asked this here: can this case accommodate the corsair shift PSUs (the ones with the connectors on the side) ? If these PSUs installed, does the side panel closes properly? Does it fit? How about the connectors bending ect. Thanks very much. - Probably you are the only one who can check since you have these products already.
I bought a Corsair 4000D. The 4000D if fine, but this seems better. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but the tempered glass only being secured by the nubs is a little concerning.
nice found this case in europe for 79.99 was really a steal :O with 4x pwm rgb fans ,added 2 fans at bottom and my gpu temps went down for 10c ez :D very nice case and btw they fixed front being weak material , mine is solid like rest of the case , tho gpu sag thing is same
@@Piotr_Majchrzak yo,good filters , cleaned it like 2 times with little air and brush in this 8 months , soo not bad . only annoying thing is dust filter on bottom for psu , its vibrating like crazy :D but some foam or smting vibration proof fix that . ofc that could be because of my 9 year old psu . im sure newer ones dont do heavy vibration xd
@@Piotr_Majchrzak yeah fan hub is pwm and connected to mobo , even connected different fans . i think main problem is my psu since its really old now , its A rated evga psu but prob needs cleaning to minimalize vibration , other than that case is solid , easy to work on , easy to clean since u can strip it without removing screws or anything
That HDD caddy... Can't it reach the front, close to the fans? If it does, you can put a pump/res combo there, I think. Nicely hidden (the pump part), would look nice with a rad on top. SImple costum build.
@@KitGuruJames Oh well. Funnily enough, I expect the manufacturing costs of the clip-together fans to be less than those with wires, purely because there are fewer wires, making for easier assembly and packaging.
The ugly black cables ruin it. White PSU with white cables would be much better methinks , though not very many of those. And yes I am aware of the existence of the extension cables, but I worry it about 2 things: 1.They may be of a lesser quality than boxed cables . 2.They might void warranty of the PSU if something goes wrong.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BUILD MONTAGE! THANK YOU!
good job James...and good job Cougar. Looks excellent
I didn't expect cougar to be good either. You learn something new every day.
Looks a nice clean build. Not messed around with cable cover keeps it clean looking. The black version looks awesome 👏 Had me planning tube routing while watching 😆
10/10 for this case, for me, its the best pc case till now.

flawless review my friend...it is indeed a very good case
Thanks!
Thank you kindly

Great explanation about setup with this tower case.

noice build mr Dawson, seems like a well specified chassis
another honest review james - top job !
Thanks!
i love your builds James, always lovely.

Are the fans of this case good for airflow? Is the cooling ability good? Also, what cfm, rpm and db value does it run at?
What about dust collection inside the case after some time? Are the filters making good job or let the dust to pass inside?
Seems to be they are DIRECTLY competing with the be Quiet! Shadow Base 800. I'll take the Shadow Base though. Good for them improving their cases.
A very informative review! There is a case similar to this and also has mesh side panels: Sharkoon Rebel C50. I hope you review this case also.
It's similar to the Lian Li Lancool 216 in some ways.
Nice vid, clear information, thanks!
Do you guys think a rmx shift could fit in it? Will there be enough space for the cables?
I'm leaving this comment here in case someone responds

The 4000D is the best mid case imo.
Excellent case !!!
Agree on that front panel design as it is it's a bit flimsy. Maybe the airflow would keep it slightly taut.
are the case feet removable?
id replace them with more anti vibration rubber, if i can take them out...
thank you!
Where are temperatures on stress test and avarage gaming?
Not sure if I like the tint free side panel looks cheaper somehow.
When James was talking about the name association of Cougar I really thought he was going to say something else.
😂
What method they choose to hold glass side panel on top? It doesn't look too solid

I can see this case being super popular.
Shame CM and LianLi didn't have this case and price beaten. Seems a no brainer.

I think it can be moved closer to the front fans. If not it would be very easy to mod the case to allow the caddy to be moved right up to the front.
which one better, Lian Li 216 or Cougar MX600? for CPU cooller fan
I want to buy fans on psu. Pls advice me what will suit well
ENDORFY ARX 700 or Cougar MX600 or NZXT H6 Flow Black?
lovely motherboard that, off to see if I can find one to buy
Theres some new Aorus Z790 boards coming in white, they also look very nice.
awesome review
Thanks! 😊
Хороший обзор! И корпус достойный!
Thanks for review..
No problem. 😊
My pleasure
This case looks remarkably like the Deepcool CH560. Between the two, which would you suggest?
Mx600 much better, have better dust filters, better front panel, better ventilation
Hello, does the arctic liquid freezer II 240mm fit on top of this case?
Yes, and 360 mm
Are the front three fans the clip-together type or are they the old style with indiviudual power and RGB controls?
They are not clip together. I wouldn't expect them to be at this price.
@@KitGuruJames Oh well. Funnily enough, I expect the manufacturing costs of the clip-together fans to be less than those with wires, purely because there are fewer wires, making for easier assembly and packaging.

RGB works best on white cases notice this every time with these reviews.
I love magnetic filters.
What a pity so many manufacturers can't make minimalist design, they always have to add weird shapes and useless angles.
Yeah,yeah,it's an ugly piece of sh*t case blah,blah,blah .
Spare me,I've heared it all before.
Man, you should probably calm down a bit during these videos. Ben Stein is gonna show up and crack down on you hard.
😂😂😂😂
They are quite good at times, bit hit and miss, like some of the other asian brands i see
The currency conversion of USG to GBP is so frustrating. We really should be getting it cheaper than the yanks.
Yeah it's annoying. Should be under £100 technically in the UK.
Stupid to not include more 3.5" drive bays instead of that many 2.5" bays. Also, ditch the RGB, Cougar!!!
RGB MUST DIE ALREADY!
These high airflow cases have sacrificed removable media completely.
Yep. Theres not many to choose from.
