    I have a Gransfor Bruk forest axe. It keeps an edge for ages. These are hand made. The person who makes the axe has their initials stamped into the head of the axe. You get a booklet and can see the man or woman who made your axe. Quality counts

      twas just a joke, in some videogames one get experience in skill, smithing, or crafting which is stuff like weaving baskets etc. and when you do something related to that skill you gain experience, and i got experience from watching you explaining how to sharpen an axe. i'll keep it a bit less geeky next timee sorry

    Bjorn - axes are one of my hobby horses. I use that same puck for the reasons you describe. They're great! I own several from Sweden and an older Finnish collared axe. What I have not been able to find is a quality Norwegian axe. I know that there is Øyo, but I hear that they have them made in Slovenia. Do you have any vintage Norwegian axes?

    • @BjornOutdoors
      @BjornOutdoors  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, we have some vintage one. One I restored, I found the axe head in the ground. But I don't know of any high quality manufacturers in Norway. And of course now, with the tax level, nobody will start up such a business here.
