I agree I said that some time ago. I think some of Depps lines were actually ad libs too. He added liberally and it worked... I actually use a line or 3 of his when needed.
Dwight Schultz made this character a laugh and a half riot, especially since his character had a unique perspective that helped the team out in more ways than one. But he also showed that the character may be crazy but not that crazy when it comes to the missions that the A-TEAM takes on. His unique chemistry and relationship with Mr T's character, B.A. is also very amusing to watch too, especially since B.A. may get annoyed by Murdock, he truly cares about him as a friend and teammate.
@@tinusvandenberg2593he's perfectly sane but acts insane because it keeps him out of prison. He also acts insane because he finds it fun to press BA's buttons.

You have GOT to do a Part 2! How can you not include the scene where Murdock walked "down the aisle", coughing the whole time, when they were trying to rescue a woman from an arranged marriage to the bad guy, his stint as the Range Rider or Captain Cab, or his love of Captain Bellybuster burgers? Or him singing the "Witch Doctor" song? Or when he was pretending to be a dog when Face broke him out of the VA? Or "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying Miracle Airlines, the only airline where Lady Luck is your co-pilot!"? Or in the first episode, he was flying the plane while the others were talking in the back and he goes casually walking by and Face had to drag him back to the cockpit.😂 These scenes on this video were great!! He was such a phenomenal actor I was always surprised he didn’t become a lead actor in tier 1 movies. There’s no doubt that he influenced Jim Carrey, Ryan Reynolds and many other actors that came after him

Same here. I remember we would ride our bikes all day, come home and watch stuff like Alf, A-Team, V. Can’t remember what aired when, but I remember those shows vividly.
In the very last episode "No Reservations" (Season 5), he showed IMHO his best dramatic emotions yet when Face got shot in the Italian restaurant and was dying; It's one of my all-time favorite episodes and was unfortunately their last gasp for the A-Team series! 😢😥

Ha! If you watch very carefully, when Hannibal raises the rope between the posts (3:35) when it initially shows the bikers coming towards it, the rope's above their heads and they could have easily ducked under it. They must have reshot it with the rope then being at the right height to take them off their bikes and then edited it into the scene.
I've never believed he's crazy, just brilliantly eccentric, imaginative, playful, and complex. The show only gave us glimpses of Murdock's depth, but enough to show that there was a lot of depth there). I think he's the most complex member of the team.
@@Rocket1377 In one of my favorite episodes, "The Doctor Is Out," Murdock is 100% sincere about how greatly he values the help of his long-time VA psychiatrist, Dr. Richter. He says Dr. Richter is the fourth most important person in his life, and he calls him his "emotional shock absorber," which implies that Murdock does still want trusted professional therapy but not psychiatric.
