A buddy of mine gave up practicing corporate law to open a small motorcycle repair shop when his daughter was small. It afforded him time he never would have had practicing law and he has an amazing relationship with his daughter. You will not regret it making time for the kid a priority.
@@neurotransmissions will decisions like this accumulate over time and shift society to a more familyfriendly future (or even more a human friendly economy)?
I would love that. I think part of the reason people are choosing to not have kids is partially because our capitalist society has placed priority on shareholders and making money than on actually improving the lives of employees. Hard to have a family if you don't get good benefits or don't have a proper life/work balance.

Bruh, capitalism is such a grind. In Europe, you can get unemployment support from a department of employment and they also help you find another job and pay for courses or your requalification and stuff. I am sure they would also help you setup a new business.
hmm, no mention of a license anywhere. Just A Guess, but; is the intent here to leverage the associated costs of becoming licensed by prospecting the public support via Patreon, while utilizing existing general purpose transformers or gpt type a.i, to compensate for the lack of credentials?
People thinking that they would have more spare time if they started their own business will never not be hilarious to me. Also, why not cut out yt entirely, if family time is what you are after?
Have you ever had any psychological and emotional difficulties yourself to the point where you needed mental health yourself? If not...not impressed, dude. Not at all.....inform me otherwise.
What are you suggesting? You have to have lived experience in order to be effective in the role? Would you say only acquitted convicts could become defence lawyers? Or that in order to be a cardiologist you had to have had heart disease yourself? What a bizarre perspective.
@@Emily-ln3zv No credible training in the UK where one can have officially recognised credibility would accept someone who had not had their own therapy during training and experienced some emotional or psychological struggle themselves. I would not go anywhere near you...your video is self-absorbed and typically of the poor standards in the USA. If you cannot understand my point or the issue I raised, that very much speaks volumes about you.
This isn't my video, I'm just a random person on the internet. It's an interesting perspective, and I think a lot of training in the UK does require intensive therapy to work through any issues, but I remain very skeptical that lived experience is a necessity for being a good therapist. I personally think intelligence and empathy is enough
Just came here to say that I am ALSO a therapist who just (2 mos ago) transitioned into private practice after leaving a stable W2 job with good benefits, four months after shelling out 20k to replace a collapsed central sewer line after as disastrous basement sewage flood! lol but literally the similarities in our stories and timing are uncanny, except I’m not a becoming a parent. Anywho…It’s scary and overwhelming at first but you CAN do it. The thing that’s most important to keep in mind I think is that your practice’s growth/ramp-up WILL be slower than you think it will. But if you plan well and take it one day at a time, it’s seriously seriously worth it. Also, joining a group practice is a nice halfway point between agency work and running your own practice. You’re still an independent contractor and get to make your own hours and worry about your own taxes and junk, but you don’t have to worry about all the incorporation and stuff.

Bruh, capitalism is such a grind. In Europe, you can get unemployment support from a department of employment and they also help you find another job and pay for courses or your requalification and stuff. I am sure they would also help you setup a new business.
Damn, I’d love that
It wasn't selfish if it was autistic preference for sameness/repetition. Which is the type of thing for which its useful to know.
hmm, no mention of a license anywhere.
Just A Guess, but; is the intent here to leverage the associated costs of becoming licensed by prospecting the public support via Patreon, while utilizing existing general purpose transformers or gpt type a.i, to compensate for the lack of credentials?
I’m licensed in both California and Illinois. What are you talking about?
@@neurotransmissions should have mentioned it! i watched the whole video and dont recall a single mention. glad that cleared up.
You know what they say about assuming...
I love Raghav! 😂
I love Raghav

Just came here to say that I am ALSO a therapist who just (2 mos ago) transitioned into private practice after leaving a stable W2 job with good benefits, four months after shelling out 20k to replace a collapsed central sewer line after as disastrous basement sewage flood! lol but literally the similarities in our stories and timing are uncanny, except I’m
not a becoming a parent.
How about Clear Mind Full Heart Therapy
