I think the world is divided into two sorts of people; hair people and not hair people. Much to my dismay I fall into group two cos when it comes to hair I'm a sad disaster. Actually when it comes to the girl thing I'm a complete lost cause. I'm going on a girls weekend starting tomorrow evening. I know the events but I don't know what to wear when. I'm at the end. lol my dear you are hilarious! the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is ONLY two weeks! they will look great in two weeks if you LEAVE THEM ALONE and don't try to fix them yourself! Actually they don't look too bad for how you described their creation 😊. It takes a while but you have GOT to find a hairdresser you like and BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SALON, make your next appointment. You can even have then ring you the day before to remind you! but also put it on your phone. NO MORE BOX. Been there, suffered from that. Seriously though, the bangs really do suit you.
My VERY first thought when the video popped up was WOW she looks GREAT in bangs!!! Honestly. Stop beating yourself up about them, they're lovely! And I cut my own hair a lot too.
Of course I cut my own bangs. Twist them, hold tightly and cut straight across on your finger line, after you have held them to measure. Don't ever just cut them hanging down like a hairdresser does. And of course I color my own hair $2.97 a box. Looks a lot better than any hairdresser ever did for mega-bucks. My daughter does my cheerleader blond 17 year old granddaughter's hair, and it always ends up streaky and perfect. SOOOOOO, don't get a complex - you can DO IT. Your hair looks fine! Don't put yourself down. DIY is GOOD!

Love this tablescape!!! Tfs I'm a bang cutter box color girl. I discovered that if I cut my bangs at mid-nose length or lower they won't shrivel up so much. I have two cowlicks in the front. So I do better with a longer bang. AND I box color because getting your hair colored at the salon takes sooo long. I know I shouldn't do it, but it's hard to devote all that time pampering myself 😜 when I could be out running errands childless!!!

I used to collect things for projects and then just never got around to doing them. ;) Your bangs really do suit you. My friend used to do a hairstyle blog called LocksandLocksofHairstyles and there is a great tutorial on there about how to cut your own bangs (and highlight your own hair, actually).
Super cute! The crafts, table scape, AND your bangs!! I'll be 50 this year, and last Sept. I decided I wanted to try buzzing my hair - turns out I really like it and it's been like that ever since!!! I have no plans on changing it anytime soon either. We all do it and sometimes it works out - but the most important thing is that you do it for YOU and not for anyone else and as long as you love it that's all that matters :-)

I'm almost 54 and I STILL do exactly that, in what seems like all the time. I have natural curly hair so that seems to make it MUCH worse. I've always done box color, I've never had my hair professionally colored. Through trial and error over the decades I've learned what works best for me. I too think you look good with the bangs. You look cute and younger :-)
First off the bangs are not as bad as you think. Secondly I also suffer from doing these crazy "I'm going to save money, by doing it myself" moments. Imagine this, I've even told my husband (country farm boy) he can start doing my pedicures so we can save money....now that would be hilarious! I enjoy your channel, have a good day.

I like the bangs! :) I have this thing where I just take my scissors, grab chunks of my hair and cut off whatever split ends I find, or just any bits that stick out weird! lol Luckily I have curly hair so my uneven cutting doesn't show as much...well until I straighten my hair! :p
Great DIY!!! Since this was in the past and a more recent vid has you coloring your hair yourself.... Cas, go to the salon before you ever get the urge to be your own stylist. Tell yourself, "Put down the scissors! Don't apply that color! Make the call, NOW!" As a former cosmetologist I'm telling you it's easier to create a look than to fix a mistake. You are so much fun to watch, love your stories at the end, and praying for nothing but blessings in your life.
Your bangs actually look really nice! But I do the same thing... I get feeling bored with my look, but also cheap, so decide to do it myself. I did it back in high school all the time, and almost 20 years later, I still do it. But even though it doesn't turn out, I still enjoy the "seize the moment" feeling of just doing it! Again, you must be queen of DIY becase your hair looks really good! :)

I cut my bangs all the time. It's hair and it will grow back, no worries. I also do the box thing. I won't put bleach on my hair so it works for me. My second job is a consultant for a hair accessory company. There are mini clips that are perfect for making bangs look beautiful. :-)

I use to could cut my own hair but now that I'm 50 its too hard for me to see what i am doing!!! i did just color it because i had so much gray and my girls kept on asking me when i was going to do somthing about it but my daughter got too dark of a hair color so it looks bad😛
I was on my period one day. I thought I should cut my hair like Katy Pery! I just kept going shorter and shorter. Yeah.... my husband asked "why don't you like yourself anymore?? Hehe. Your hair isn't bad don't worry.

I actually was tired of my hair being in need of a trim, and thought what the hec, I've done it before, many times, and most of the time, they turned out great. Well, guess what I ended up with one if the times...a bloody mullet! I freaked out, but couldn't stop laughing either. And I'm in my 60s. 😊🤣😂

I'm a bang cutter box color girl. I discovered that if I cut my bangs at mid-nose length or lower they won't shrivel up so much. I have two cowlicks in the front. So I do better with a longer bang. AND I box color because getting your hair colored at the salon takes sooo long. I know I shouldn't do it, but it's hard to devote all that time pampering myself 😜 when I could be out running errands childless!!!
Ok I just finished watching the whole video. Btw I love the sea glass vases--SO pretty! You are so creative and you actually DO the projects. I used to collect things for projects and then just never got around to doing them. ;) Your bangs really do suit you. My friend used to do a hairstyle blog called LocksandLocksofHairstyles and there is a great tutorial on there about how to cut your own bangs (and highlight your own hair, actually).
Super cute! The crafts, table scape, AND your bangs!! I'll be 50 this year, and last Sept. I decided I wanted to try buzzing my hair - turns out I really like it and it's been like that ever since!!! I have no plans on changing it anytime soon either. We all do it and sometimes it works out - but the most important thing is that you do it for YOU and not for anyone else and as long as you love it that's all that matters :-)

I cut my own hair too, when I am stressed. Always before important events, like recently, my son's graduation from University. Why????? This is so wrong, but I feel your pain and I love you. I'm almost 54 and I STILL do exactly that, in what seems like all the time. I have natural curly hair so that seems to make it MUCH worse. I've always done box color, I've never had my hair professionally colored. Through trial and error over the decades I've learned what works best for me. I too think you look good with the bangs. You look cute and younger :-)
First off the bangs are not as bad as you think. Secondly I also suffer from doing these crazy "I'm going to save money, by doing it myself" moments. Imagine this, I've even told my husband (country farm boy) he can start doing my pedicures so we can save money....now that would be hilarious!

I like the bangs! :) I have this thing where I just take my scissors, grab chunks of my hair and cut off whatever split ends I find, or just any bits that stick out weird! lol Luckily I have curly hair so my uneven cutting doesn't show as much...well until I straighten my hair! :p
Great DIY!!! Since this was in the past and a more recent vid has you coloring your hair yourself.... Cas, go to the salon before you ever get the urge to be your own stylist. Tell yourself, "Put down the scissors! Don't apply that color! Make the call, NOW!" As a former cosmetologist I'm telling you it's easier to create a look than to fix a mistake. You are so much fun to watch, love your stories at the end, and praying for nothing but blessings in your life.
Your bangs actually look really nice! But I do the same thing... I get feeling bored with my look, but also cheap, so decide to do it myself. I did it back in high school all the time, and almost 20 years later, I still do it. But even though it doesn't turn out, I still enjoy the "seize the moment" feeling of just doing it! Again, you must be queen of DIY becase your hair looks really good! :)

I decided after watching a whole whopping 1 RUclips video tutorial to chop my curly, long, mountain woman hair. One of the WORST things I've ever done. I have to keep the unfortunate mullet in a ponytail till I can go crawling back to my hairdresser and have her laugh at me
Girl!!! My hair is naturally curly... I've cut my bangs myself many times. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Do you know how dumb straightened bangs look with curly hair?? i have curly hair so no bang cutting.....butI've cut pieces of hair around my face to supposedly create layers...yeah no. lol
You can keep it together, you are very smart. You just have a husband, kids,( more than one), a house to keep running, a job, and utube. Of course you cut your own bangs and have crazy pants life. I do not cut my own hair but the box. I can admit I am cured from the box since I went to a formal adult special dinner with pink hair. Yikes done with the box. I cut my bangs all the time. It's hair and it will grow back, no worries. I also do the box thing. I won't put bleach on my hair so it works for me. My second job is a consultant for a hair accessory company. There are mini clips that are perfect for making bangs look beautiful. :-)
Girl we are twins. I do that AAAALLL THE TIME with my bangs. This time I shaved the side of my head. Lol. Hugs mama.
