Utica, NY Fire Department Central Dispatch

This video shows the old Utica Fire Department Central Station, Dispatch Center. This station was located on Elizabeth St. You can see the dispatchers working on the old equipment. Chief Dispatcher Dick Lockwood is identified in this video.

Good Evening,
Chief Mullen was appointed as Deputy Chief in June of 1948 and operated as such until obtaining Chief in January of 1960. We unfortunately have not been able to identify many of the firefighters in the videos on our page. However we would suspect he would have been to many of the fires we have posted in the 1950's, so keep your eyes open for him.
