Rabid's video on I Can't Ride These Lines Without You has ballooned into a feature film length video essay so thanks for bearing with us. Hopefully the wait will be worth it!
I'm totally speechless. Thank you! This year was something else. So many amazing, strong, impressive, emotional tracks we got to experience. I'm really grateful and little bit shocked even. The moment you announced my track I just started crying uncontrollable, having mixed feelings of happiness, uncertainty, proudness and stress all at the same time. It's been quite stressful year, so this really did cheer me up a lot! :3
Amazing tracks for this year! I'm glad I could be included in this list, especially with my debut track. Really glad you guys grasped the message behind it and I'm very thankful for the support I got this year, keep being awesome :)
it fills me with joy to see people i know; such as pocke, or vsbl, featured in this video who started seriously making line rider tracks last year, it gives the impression that line rider is such an open ended and easy to learn medium that anyone could use it and create a masterpiece
The best part is that it wasn’t always that way! It’s thanks to a lot of dedicated work from developers over multiple years that Line Rider is a performant and accessible artmaking tool that allowed everyone to kick so much ass this year!
As always: thank you for putting together a list and making such a high quality video. Solid stuff. I am very flattered to have made an appearance among such brilliant tracks.

This video gives a completely new meaning to terms like "critic", "art" and nonsense. One can be a "critic" to ragdoll on a sled on musical background. We have arrived to idiocracy.
Hold the line by SupersonicPineapple for sure earned a spot in this list in my opinion. It doesn't have any deeper meaning, it's just a lyric-video, but that's exactly what I like about it.
@@LineRiderReview yeah, I know that it was nominated, the judges are wrong! ;) But joking aside, great picks of course, but I think, you guys look a bit too much on the artistic side compared to the pure enjoyment side, which is ok of course, but a bit of a mix of "genres" would be nice. For example some spots for the best track (only looking at the track), some spots for the best synchro, some spots for the best story (sad, happy, funny), some spots for the biggest rewatchvalue and some spots for "dumb entertainment", if you know what I mean. I think, "dumb entertainment", like lyric-videos is exactly what Line Rider was made for, and Hold the Line just hit the nail on the head for me, but also maybe I just have a different taste and I guess thats ok ;) Hold the Line is the only Track from this year I can watch over and over again, so maybe I just have a bit of a soft spot for it :)
@@Feds_the_Freds I will readily admit that the judges panel are biased towards the artistic side, since it's been the explicit goal of this channel since the outset to treat Line Rider as an art medium, so all the judges are artists haha. You're definitely allowed to have different opinions than our judges though, and there's nothing wrong with that! I will say, ranking tracks based on different categories always begs the question, who gets to pick the categories? Because the categories you pick usually wind up with the tracks that best conform to each category "winning" that category, and tracks there are always tracks that don't fit easily into categories. In my opinion the only real way to judge art is to ask yourself "how much does this work mean to me?", and any other ways proposed to judge artworks usually stem from someone wishing other people's taste was more aligned with their own. If you really enjoy Hold the Line and you watch it over and over, first of all I'm glad you found a Line Rider track that you enjoy that much because enjoying things that much is awesome. Second of all, that's your personal taste, which is just as valid as anyone else's, including mine! :)

Not sure if intended, though I'm inclined to think it is... but want to point out that 3:38 to me looks like the cartoon image of coronavirus under the microscope, with the Boschs acting as the hairs (?) around the virus
I've been trying to find this type of game for FOREVER now, it's just like this but it's not this game, you draw tracks, publish them, ride them, whatever, but it's just tracks, not synced with music. I know it isn't this game too cause of what the biker character looks like. Anyone know what I'm trying to find?

You're probably thinking of Free Rider! Where the character is on a bike and you control them and actually play through the levels like a game.
