I always thought the monorail on the Monkie Kid set looked really dumb going in that tiny loop. I'd love to see it extend into a long elevated line between the ninjago city area and maybe even along the foot of the montains. Going through the red doors of the Temple on its way. Just an idea but I'd love to see you try it 👍👍
ideas: maybe, you can make a center piece for the city, like a fountain or a statue. the temple of airjitzu is up in the sky in the ninjago show so maybe you could put it in the mountains, but its probably going to be hard. thats it for my ideas and also, for the ninjago land, dont overthink it, just make something you are happy with. your city looks great!
Awesome layout! With the botanical garden water fall, you could add two smaller water falls coming from the little pond and they could fall into the canel.
I'd love to see you incorporate the the ninjago theme with your mountains more, maybe something akin to mt. fuji and then have your ninjago city at the base of it. Then you can have a highway of some sort connecting the two cities. Love your process and can't wait to see more!
Hey Bookie! Still reckon a sneaky branch line along the front of the mountains into ninjago land. I reckon you've got enough room. The train could end up at a platform/terminus on the shelf behind... That train engine shed is big! Be aware!
City is looking cool… I would have the ninjago sets sideward on the table in a row (plus MK if it fits there) and stalls in front then have the temple over by the mountains as it looks older. Keep it up 👍
Looking epic great! Enjoy seeing the progress. I think the Ninjago layout would look great with mountains in the background flowing down to them. Have a small water are in the middle with a bridge crossing over to the docks. You could connect into Hogwarts as you mentioned. have that come out off the shelf onto the mountains and add Hagrid's hut along with any other HP sets you want there.
Interesting conundrum. Perhaps consider raising the MK sets behind the ninjago ones. That way you can see them, but they don't have to be on "water level".
Making a version of a river walk (like San Antonio or something simpler) along the mini modular could look great and provide a space for the waterfall to flow into...
This is looking great so far! I think if you really want to put a canal in the lower city, go for it! That would look pretty cool! As for Ninjago land, that's gonna be a bit tough, but I think it would be a good idea to try and put the Ninjago modulars continuously next to each other, and have the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon closer to the mountains. Maybe you could also find a way to put the Ninjago modulars more towards the back and have the Temple of Airjitzu more fronted, so it can be a focal point like you said! These are just ideas and suggestions, you do you!
A small canal in the front linking to the waterfall would be great. I would carry the same tree design along both sides of the canal. Link the smaller Ninjago sets on the upper shelf (Harry Potter stuff) with mountains, trails and water to the lower level. it will add some cool depth and height elements. Great way to show all the detail too.
Was the plan not to move the mountains anyway to get access to the window? Why not moving the mountains (or rebuild) them as a background for the Ninjago city (at current position of Ninja city)? Might need to extend the table however this should give you enough space to put all 7 (if I haven't misscounted) sets in front of the mountains. By placing them all next to each other it also would give you a nice kind of canal / waterfront.
Love the little river or creek in front of the small mods. Tiny walk bridges, parks with dogs and playgrounds if u have those little sets and bits. Would love a closer shot of the botanical gardens, how u doubled it. ❤ the process.

I’m thinking about the branch line more and more 🤔

I think I’ll try that.

The botanical garden I made my own modular building. At least the back half
It’s such a great set!
@MrBookieboo it is I bought 2 more while they was on clearance at my walmart

Could you put the ninjago sets in front of mountains . Wrapping the mountains around in front of the shelf would look awesome also . Looking good but.
Good idea!

Interesting idea and yes, the idea was to have access to my window. The mountains were going to slope about halfway in that middle area.

Great ideas, thank you! I’ll do a highlight video of the botanic garden soon.
I really like mini modulars from creator sets. Any video related to those? Thanks 😊
I’ll see what I can do.
