  • Heyyo everyone!
    I believe someone requested this in the comments section of one of my videos so here it is! I've been actually trying to figure out how to make bowls consistently shape-wise and size-wise since I made the plates but it's a little complicated. But now, I've finally found a way to make it consistently!
    Here, I'm going to show you how I created my own bowl mold using air dry clay as well! Do like and share the video if you find it helpful! Thankies 💚

    Thank you so much for your tutorial. I see alot of videos for oven baked clays.I don't want to fuss with that. I would be scared to either burn my project or not bake it enough, especially, when I work so hard to create something. Keep more videos coming. You are much appreciated.

    New subscriber! I found this really helpful, because of how she described it and it’s air dry clay! And I’m very thankful for this channel because it’s more to the way I go into making air dry clay, it’s also great since you don’t need to bake it, I get very concerned when I bake clay like it will break my project that I love, or like it will burn my project or just it will still be much to wet and not silicified by what I mean mushy. TYSM for this! ^.^

      Also what paint do you use for your projects? Acrylic, puffy paint, watercolor?

      I use acrylic paint for painting over pieces and poster paint for coloring the clay itself. You can check the list of materials and tools linked in the description for more info :3

    Hello po ate do you use airdry clay sealer for your crafts? or is it already waterproof? btw i love your videos po ❤️

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  3 года назад +1

      Thank you cindelara! 💖 Yes I use sealer specifically bosny/ clear varnish :) May matte/flat and gloss finish na available for those. Medj pricey sila kaya if on budget ka pede din naman gumamit ng local air dry clay sealers you can find on shopee. Kahit anong type ng adc hindi waterproof kaya need i-seal tlga kasi magme-melt sya pag nababad sa tubig.

    can you please tell me how will clay dry. because i was so excited when i purchase the clay from amazon to make DIY but it doesn't get harden. It looks like a sponge after it dries.

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  3 года назад +2

      oh you must have probably bought the foam type air dry clay. it will not harden as it's really foam-like when it's cured. you may try making your own air dry clay if you want. i have a tutorial on how i make mine: ruclips.net/video/bXEECoDeX5I/видео.html I recommend making the cooked version as it's much workable than the uncooked one. :) you can easily navigate through the video using the timestamps in the comment section. hope that helps! 😁

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 года назад +1

      hmm i haven't experienced anything like that so far so I'm not sure what happened. did you just let it dry in the open?

      Zain first time i make air diy clay it came super exactly like you ir so soft same like you exactly and next time I have done next but it's consistency is little bit hard next day i have mixed first time clay and second I have done that clay totally I have mixed after two days I making a mini bowl for my mini kitchen so I wanted to make mini bowls but became like brownish also when I pur water in that mini bowl that bowls melts pl zeny pl help me

    • @zainclayarts
      @zainclayarts  2 года назад +1

      @@rahulbinnala4355 hmm the only thing i can think of why it became brownish is if the clay picked up dust or something from your workspace or from your hands. however, if you cleaned them beforehand, im not really sure what could be the cause of it.
      as for the melting problem, air dry clay is not waterproof so that's normal. you can use a varnish or sealer after the clay dries to keep that from happening :)

      Hi Rahul, I saw your comment and I think it might be easier for you if you buy a block of air dry clay to make your miniature bowls with, rather than trying to make the clay yourself, until you have had more experience using it. That is what I do because I am not very experienced with air dry clay either. And it's not expensive to buy. I don't know where you are but I live in Melbourne, Australia, and I can buy 1 kilo of air dry clay for about $10 or a 500gm block for $6 - $7 from a local craft shop. After you have opened a new packet of clay you must keep it sealed by wrapping it up and putting it in a plastic bag that you can also seal, or the clay will dry out. It's a good idea to always have a jar of water with you when working with air dry clay because, even if your clay has dried out a bit, you can add water to it and make it soft again. If you want to put water in a bowl made of air dry clay, then you must seal the whole bowl with some kind of waterproof sealer, or you could make your bowls out of polymer clay which is waterproof anyway and doesn't need to be sealed. Polymer clay does have to be baked in the oven, however, at 120 - 130 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. I hope this helps you in some way. Love from Amanda Jones ❤️
