- I've been playing the video game Shining Nikki and came across a stunning costume. I made the decision to create it myself and transform this 2D design into a 3D project! I'm using 18 tin cans and the ancient filigree technique to craft this lovely Peking Opera Headwear.
It's a huge project, really took my time to finish this Shining Nikki design Peking Opera Costume.

I'm not Chinese but I grew up in Chinese community from small till teenagers, In 1960's when I was young, I used to watch a lot of Chinese Opera in my village. I really LOVE all the costumes they wore and the make up of those actors and actress applied on their faces. I used to see them washing the make up away after the Opera finished, I am so captivated by this culture and until now I really really Love Chinese Opera. Now it is so hard to find this Opera again. I wished I could go to China (Peking) just to watch this Opera.

白乳胶比较容易受潮，做封层的话，保管时间还真的不太长，可以考虑用点别的材料。不然辛苦做出来的东西放不了多久就坏了，很可惜的。

I play Love Nikki (the 2D version) and there's 2 opera costumes (called Peony Pavilion and Singing Phoenix) is just stunning; I'm guessing this is a redesign of the Singing Phoenix as the design is the same, but the colors differ in some areas (and it's 3D, obviously!) Elex creates costumes that are so visually pleasing, don't they? I'm always stunned when people bring Nikki costumes to life. You really brought the Singing Phoenix to life. It's so aesthetically pleasing and I bet, because it is aluminum, and not silver, it is quite light.
I'd love some of the close captioning to be in English so I know what the instructions are! It looks amazing!

用易拉罐做材料, 感覺上很不好, 戴上滿頭的剃刀, 頭皮癢了恐怕就是一手血了. 另外, 那個藍色的羽毛沒有按羽毛方向鋪排, 要是只是拿那個顔色, 還不如直接用染料染過的樹脂塗上去.

為何鳳冠都是藍色的，我知道正統鳳冠是用翠鳥羽毛做貼飾，稱為點翠，那除了用翠鳥羽毛，也有其他技可以為鳳冠增添色彩啊，比如景泰藍(有各種色彩，貼金箔啊！成為金色鳳冠彩漆彩繪增添色彩啊！蒔繪(金屬光澤的金銀粉，彩色粉撒在塗漆上)，彩色絨紙啊……
感覺好容易會被鋁片傷到手，但你的手還是保持得很漂亮，好佩服這樣的精神和毅力！
