+Giorgos Chatziioannou (LezantasGR34T) you doubt anyone has data that shows most windows machines aren't for gaming? Business solutions alone would be greater than gaming pcs in number.
When I benchmark I just use the trial period :) This works for Windows XP as well as Windows 10. Windows 10 even has a site for you to download an evaluation version which works for 60 days I think.
Windows 10 runs perfectly fine for me and likely most other people. I understand there are privacy and other issues but they are largely overstated by a vocal minority.
Kevin McArthur the privacy issues are with all the companies, windows are just admitting they are spying, hahaha. honestly if the updates werent forced and you could choose when it happens it would be amazing
i dont have any issues, quite frankly i like it, just had to use classic shell to get ride of the crappy start menu and now it just feels like a lighter version of windows 7 with dx12 integration. and i dont get random updates, you can disable them similar to how you do on windows 7 however whenever theres something big windows does update automaticly.
+Wraptor _ Cheap? What world are you living in? Apple products are all 25%+ over-priced for brand premium. Also, I don't really see what "100% made [themselves*]" means and is entirely irrelevant... In case you didn't know, 18/22 of their manufacturing factories are in China.
I like how real you guys are, I know people use that word a lot, but in the first minute you guys are open with what's going on to some degree, and show your empathy. Coupling this with your honest answers videos really means so much to me. In my opinion openness and honesty are paramount, and it seems your channel believes in that. It makes me feel better because sometimes I feel alone in these thoughts.
59:45 The take-down from Activision may go deeper than what they want people to know, and I hope the REAL story of this gets out VERY soon as I tire of hearing this "one sided debate". The model is based off of the Heckler & Koch SL8 Rifle, and BOTH companies used a very loyal representation of the sight rail on this gun. Perhaps Activision would like to not have to explain why they are suing over someone using a model, that is similar to theirs, which is an unlicensed model of a real life firearm? The rest of the guns they are "claiming", are different in many ways and will not hold up, but THIS ONE, the one where it is "obviously the same", is the same because it is a copy of a real life object, and they simply threw the rest of the guns into the claim to keep the attention away from this one, very incriminating, fact; A fact which would likely not only get this case dismissed, but also would result in Activision having a lawsuit brought against THEMSELVES for using this model without a license from the manufacturer/designer of the real life firearm.
Actually, upon comparing the rest of the rifle as well, the H&K SL8 is what the entire M8A7 was modeled after, there are VERY few differences, it isn't just the sight rail.
The company and even the game has been called out several times for this behaviour. I remember the natural section 2 model being stolen. I forget what the other case was\ or involved
JayXdbX That is completely irrelevant to THIS case. That is like saying someone is guilty of causing an accident where someone pulled out in front of them, because they caused an accident one other time a few years ago, things do not work that way. Basically, when ALL of the facts are in front of you, and proper scrutiny is applied, the BEST argument that Activision has, is that this developer decided to use them as a middleman in the unlicensed use of an asset modeled after the H&K SL8, rather than copying the actual firearm directly, as it looks like they actually did when you compare the two ENTIRE models to the real thing. Yes, the models in game, of the sight rail (just a PART of the gun) are similar, but they are not EXACT (the scaling is different for many of the details, and there are other differences in curves, edges, corners, etc.), and both are pretty accurate representations of the original. The rest of the guns they call into question are VERY different from each other and also based off of existing firearms or parts of existing firearms (A shotgun looks like a shotgun, they all have the same basic model and mechanics); They are there to try to hide the ENTIRE truth from coming out, it is a common tactic for bullshit charges or suits, and it works well as long as someone doesn't dig far enough and bring things like THIS to light. I just brought it out, and it needs to be addressed and discussed.
+Gerff _"That is completely irrelevant to THIS case."_ really? okay i'll let you explain why that is then. _"That is like saying someone is guilty of causing an accident where someone pulled out in front of them, because they caused an accident one other time a few years ago, things do not work that way."_ Well first off that analogy is wrong. The situations from times past from what I can tell is exactly the same. This does not however mean I think the guilt is necessarily on them. You also made the analogy assume the defendant was innocent which is find but I would hope only done to show how someone could be innocent of past digressions. Here let me give you my analogy. *“It’s a bright and sunny day and this young fit man gets hit by a car. Now this man has a history of jumping in front of 2 cars already for insurance/lawsuit money. Is it reasonable to think this might be his third attempt?”* for all we know this is just happen chance it was like the past two times. Is it warranted that you be more suspicious of this third attempt considering his history? Basically it’s the real life version of the boy who cried wolf. Even if their innocent people are less likely to believe them because they have a history of doing this type of stuff. So I think those two past instances are relevant to this case. _"the BEST argument that Activision has, is that this developer decided to use them as a middleman in the unlicensed use of an asset modeled after the H&K SL8, rather than copying the actual firearm directly, as it looks like they actually did when you compare the two ENTIRE models to the real thing."_ So basically the best argument Activsion has is: _“They stole our models rather than copying the firearm directly?”_ Which was more than Activsion was claiming. Not trying to be obtuse but with all the lawyering tip toeing you added that’s what I honestly thought you were trying to say without directly saying it. My second best guess on what you were trying to say is _“Activision used (stole) their models design from a gun manufacture. Said models were stolen later but because Activision usage of them wasn’t right/legal this makes stealing them (from activation) alright.”_ I disagree with this core argument and it’s even worse since now the company is stealing from Activsion and the gun manufacture even if Activsion is in the wrong and the developer didn’t know they were stolen(which is kinda defeats the basis of the argument); but I’m unwilling to go further in criticism as this is an assumption of what I think you were trying to say and I’m unsure how accurate this would be. I’m also sure I’m edging the line for straw man fallacy so I’d rather let you respond to correct my misinterpretation. _“Yes, the models in game, of the sight rail (just a PART of the gun) are similar,”_ For the second weapon image, the rail is from the M8A7, the butt all the way slightly past the trigger is from the Haymaker, the pump is from krm-262, and the barrel from the Man-o-war. Oh and I don’t mean theses look kind of like those guns, I mean those are those meshes with a slightly different coat of paint (and merged together). The only original things I saw were the nozzle of the weapon, the clip in the gun, and small edits with the ridges on the butt making them bit longer but still where a ridge was and an easy to miss modification (Wouldn’t be shocked if other modifications like this existed but it’s so small. it would be easy to miss even when looking for it.) Just to be clear these are solely modification I saw in the mesh. _“but they are not EXACT (the scaling is different for many of the details, and there are other differences in curves, edges, corners, etc.),-”_ Covered this. Nothing to add until he responds. _”and both are pretty accurate representations of the original.”_ This statement will always harm your argument unless the person reading it doesn’t think the second set of models were stolen from the first. I already listed what guns/parts I think they stole based on evidence I’ve seen. What I’m trying to say is, “this adds to people bad opinion rather than helps your argument.” Nothing to add besides that. _” The rest of the guns they call into question are VERY different from each other and also based off of existing firearms or parts of existing firearms (A shotgun looks like a shotgun, they all have the same basic model and mechanics);”_ All the guns have an element of Black ops 3 highly detailed model. This is unlikely unless they were made from the same artist or company. Nothing to add to this. _”They are there to try to hide the ENTIRE truth from coming out, it is a common tactic for bullshit charges or suits, and it works well as long as someone doesn't dig far enough and bring things like THIS to light. I just brought it out, and it needs to be addressed and discussed”_ Hmmmmmmmm…. I don’t remember you pointing out any evidence but that isn’t criticism on you but just my flaky memory. I’ll have to check your post again. However if I were you, I would check to see if black ops 3 had its gun models updated recently. If the man-o-war and several other guns models changed then it would suggest they were trying to make them look like Dino’s models possibly. Citation of evidence. www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-06-28-developer-says-activision-had-valve-pull-its-game-from-steam-over-allegedly-stolen-gun images.eurogamer.net/2015/articles/1/8/4/0/3/1/6/developer-says-activision-had-valve-pull-its-game-from-steam-over-allegedly-stolen-guns-146710896169.jpg/EG11/resize/600x-1/quality/80/format/jpg (Ya right. Like Euro gamer made that image. Come on punks, it’s from reddit) TL:DR About 1% +/- .99% of the guns are original mesh for at least 1 gun. They stole parts from several gun models to create their own with very little modification. The only difference is small and easy to miss edits in the mesh, a clip, new texture, and possibly a new bump map.
Linus if you wanted to bulk replace the twitter handles in the description you can use Tubebuddy since it has a find replace function and do it across multiple videos. You can also update links that you have in the Info cards with it too if you need to. Sorry you've been having such a rough past few weeks, it seems like you've just had a lot of rotten luck lately all things considered. I hope things turn around for you soon!
began laughing hysterically when he showed the world access information to his twitter account on screen. 50:40 "did you just do that again?" LMFAO. Great stuff!

Wait wtf why should TSA have to pry out from you who you are and what you're doing here? It's not their business... (EU opinion)
Have you read the book 1984 by George Orwell? Its basically a story about a society without freedom, and if "security" is what you thought when you think of the government prying on us, you're wrong. It is true that government should protect us, but not by breaching our personal conversation
I don't see how knowing someones social media details would have helped, it's not like social media accounts are necessarily tied to an individuals identity. And a person can have more than 1 account on ANY social network. On the other hand maybe knowing that there are eyes watching social media will deter terrorists from using them to communicate and deny them a method of communication? But even then, there are so many ways around that..
8 лет назад+7
Bryan G. And by asking "who are you and what you're doing here" you'll get an answer "hello I'm a terrorist I'm going to commit genocide"? Is that the amount of ignorance you have?
I think it's much more likely that they'll do brief searches for them on social media anyways, and then compare whatever accounts they find with the ones you give them and look for any odd discrepancies or reasons you would have given them one and not another. Otherwise they wouldn't make it optional.
Louis Rossman has confirmed that he is not currently being sued. The video was vague because he didn't, and still hasn't gotten all the details as to why he was contacted.
*slowclap for the screen shared password* Also, you can use a large grid of ir leds rigged up in either a flashlight type use or on a car somehow to block out many types of cameras with just simple overexposure.
In regards to the Orion: Prelude bit, the devs actually admitted to using stolen assets. They say they fired the artist responsible, but given the companies history, it really just seems as if they tried pushing the blame onto a singular person to look better.
This podcast is so awkward and all over the place at times lol. Kudos to you for not only burying the hatchet with Louis but reaching out and helping him out.
www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-750-ti-review,3750-20.html Like they talked about 750Ti power issues? Or GTX960 issues? It's all BS. Nvidias cards are worse offenders if it mattered.
Though check every overclocked card out there From what I've seen from AdoredTV he shows that for example the 960 had the same issue and if you overclock it also takes more power from the PCIe slot
You can reuse windows with ANY hardware change. You simply have to use the 'sysprep' tool. It can cause issues with some installed programs, but if you're just taking a raw install for use on test benches, it's more than adequate. Even if you can't activate windows, activation is hardly needed for a test bench.
As for the "Windows Support" problem if you buy the OEM/system builder disk from somewhere like Newegg or Amazon you are responsible for your own support. If you buy the "FULL" version for $199 Microsoft is required to the pick up the phone when you call them, that version of it DOES come with support while the other disks do not. But I do understand the frustration with the whole test bench license thing and I do agree that MS should provide some form of support for the customers that buy the system builder disks.
The funniest thing about the Microsoft story is that when I worked with HP, we regularly had to call their service desk for new keys for customers(Anytime a notebook gets a mobo replaced, its mobo tattoo no longer matches the one associated with the key). All we had to do, and I mean ALL we had to do, was say "Hello, I'm ____, I'm with HP, we had a consumer get a motherboard replacement and we need a replacement OEM key for their notebook issued". No secondary verification, no codewords, no checks, no balances, hell, not even a special service desk, we called the front line. EVERY time we called, we got a successful key issued. Not even so much as a "I have to ask my supervisor".
(Side note, hardware changes do not always invalidate the key. Only changes to the motherboard itself. CPU changes Shouldn't invalidate the key(Sometimes they may ask for a re-entry just to be sure, but these days since the key is associated with your account as well, it's less likely to be an issue). Your motherboard has what's referred to by the service centers as a Tattoo, an individual hash code that is unique to every motherboard out there. Your operating system keys itself to that code.)
Ok (just so people know) you CAN revive after salt water damage. Had salt water damage on my Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. It was completely dead and i did end up fixing it. So if that has happened to anyone, there is hope.
From what I understand of Windows licensing, the license is good for one computer. It can't be transferred to another computer. Upgrading a hard drive or a video card is one thing, but changing the motherboard and CPU is essentially a new computer and requires a new license. Maybe you should look into volume licenses?
I dunno. I can't get on the Rossman bandwagon, because heating a board up isn't burning it. Heat is applied in much the same way during the initial assembly of a PCB (components are rated for certain times at certain temperatures for this), and cracked unleaded solder is most certainly not unheard of.
Thing with the Orion stuff is they also just straight up modeled Boba Fett and Kylo Ren's helmet in the game. Just 100% those helmets with really no changes made to them. As for the guns, they're mostly cobbled together from several guns in the game. Like the sights are one part of one gun, the barrel is another part from another gun, sort of stitched together like a Frankenstein's monster. The developers of Orion are pretty clearly in the wrong. There's some good in depth looks on their previous business practices that are worth checking out as well.
I think nun puffs are referencing a French Canadian thing where nuns used to use left over dough with brown sugar and made little cinnamon roll type of things.
I have never had the issue you're talking about at about 18 minutes. I've worked in a small computer repair store and have purchased Windows myself and every single time I had this issue, I just called in and they gave me a new key. That being said, I've changed hardware multiple times in the past 2 years and have been able to use the original Windows 7 key I bought about 5 ish years ago.
Microsoft does give you support. I bought two copies of Windows 8 years ago. When Windows 8.1 came out, one of my PC couldn't update to 8.1. So I called Microsoft support, and they fixed my problem at no charge.
motherboard change issue does not happen when you buy a retail key. If you have OEM versions then motherboard is a significant update to call it a new computer. Although if the motherboard make is same and you are changing due to the fact that your older mobo got problem, you will get valid reactivation. So understand EULA first.
Hey Linus, Think there are Multi-Activation Keys (MAK) that can be activated/reused regardless of hardware (we use one to activate our Windows 7 Pro via WDS). When you get audited by MS (or an outsourced company), they will simply ask for the count of keys in use, how many you own, and usually 5 proof of purchase/keys (like a picture). If you are purchasing several licenses, you should look into volume licensing and a company that specializes in them; they generally have better knowledge of how the MS audit system works. Regards, - Ed
20:00 i can understand your frustration with the windows support due to the job related difficulties, but i personally had 4 good experiences with the windows support, the last one was me reinstalling windows from 1 cd which auto entered a product key and then switching the key which for some reason resulted in most windows services just uninstalling, which is a weird reaction to a changed product key imo :D... anyways, i contacted the support via chat and did all the stuff until he realized that something major went wrong so he asked to take control with their integrated system and after ~3 hours everything was fixed and is running perfectly... i honestly expected them to say "if you dont have the original cd to your key then buy another key" because thats the kind of thing you would expect from windows, but instead i just got my pc fixed while doing nothing :D
Doesn't matter what he was doing really. Unfortunately there will be idiots that are going to use this ASSIST technology as if it were a highly intelligent AI autopilot that can handle anything. How long till some woman uses it to drive for her while she puts on makeup? How long before some idiot is texting and taking selfies with it engaged? I see these things every day on major highways in cars without driving assist tech. Why is this Tesla's fault? Because the media has over-hyped this and people expect things to just magically work without understanding it.
The social media account thing is much more insidious than it sounds like in the show. With the amount of data shared with the NSA (and to a lesser degree, other groups) associating one social profile will open the door to all the other ones you use. When you connect to a web server you have a nearly-unique digital fingerprint. The EFF has a tool that lets you see how rare it is. For example, my PC has a 1 in 5 million hardware signature. By cross-referencing the data they collect from the sites that share with them, spy agencies can create a full online profile of you from one or two starting points.
Sony Playstation 1,2,3,4 all used disc based media. PSP also used discs (though enclosed in plastic, Universal Media Disc). So I count 5 Sony consoles using discs, not 3 as Linus said.
160MB of RAM in 1992, A PC probably had 4MB. You couldn't get 80MB of HDD storage in such a small space back then either. The standard portable storage was a HD 3 1/4 inch floppy disc which held 1.44MB formatted space.
i still think the way to go is aluminum tracks on the physical freeway so a car can navigate by looking at a line and already know where to go on a pre determined destination.
Agree with you implicitly where the comments on the distinct lack of support available from MS. Contacted them to activate a legitimately bought version of Win-7 Ultimate and, after being passed from pillar to post by them via the phone no one, absolutely no one was prepared to help and basically concluded the product-key was worthless. Likewise I've expressed concerns over Win-7 product-keys that I've bought that won't successfully activate - Again they did not and do not seem to care. Abysmal service to be fair. No wonder there are so many 'boot-legged' versions.
I've been telling all my customers to try and get a refund of sorts for me having to revert/reinstall an older version of Windows after the machine upgraded without their permission. Easily over 30 this year alone.
A light saber would in actuality would be a cloud of extremely hot plasma held in a "blade-like" shape by an electromagnetic field, like a handheld tokamak, which we have achieved before, however the main problem is the amount of energy that it would require.
i'm surprised no one noticed how easily that tesla autopilot crash could have been avoided the simple implementation of sonar on the front bumper could have saved that poor man's life
wooo weee but, those are parking sensors... sonar systems in boats can scan to the bottom of the ocean. if that isn't enough distance,i don't know what is.
Not sure how much they cost, as it's always been the company that I work for that supplied them, but with an MSDN license, I have gotten Windows keys that can essentially be activated ad infinitum.
The biggest issue with windows 10 upgrade is you have to disable the feature in windows update that re-uploads you own updates to the web for other pc's! It will bog your internet completely, I only have 1.5mb/sec internet and usually don't see above 180 kb per second downloads, though speed tests from the providers sight claims 1.5mb/sec, but I had to disable the feature, since it was making my computer unusable, cpu, network and memory wise! But it is easy to disable! Start, Settings, Update and Security, on windows update tab, select advanced options. Now Select "choose how your updates are delivered", located the on/off selector that says "When this is turned on your pc parts of previously downloaded windows updates to pc's on your local network, or pc's on the internet and select "OFF"! Now you will only update your own pc!
Hmm, just wanting to point out, if you look at the M8A7 comparison (and read the white text) the top rail is entirely the same. Even with the blue arcs around that nub thing
Luke seems to have misunderstood the Oculus situation. The reason Rift games didn't originally run on the Vive was because Oculus didn't have support for the Vive. VR input/output is not standardized yet like regular monitors and keyboards/mice (although SteamVR and OSVR are trying to become the standard for making one game for different hardware). The issue people have is Oculus says games are exclusive to the Oculus platform, but it is unclear what that is. Palmer Luckey also said he doesn't mind if people mod their games to run on other headsets. What the Revive mod originally did was forward video and tracking data to/from the Oculus drivers to/from SteamVR. Oculus then added a check to their DRM that prevented games on Oculus Home (Oculus's store, where the exclusives are sold) from running if a Rift is not connected. To circumvent this, Revive had to break the Oculus DRM. Now Oculus removed the Rift check from their DRM. That means Oculus games can be played on a Vive without breaking the DRM, but you still need a mod in order to do it.
Autopilot is a misleading name if it is only an assist feature. The definition of autopilot is "a device that steers a ship, aircraft, or spacecraft in place of a person". The definition of autopilot doesn't require hands on the wheel, whereas Teslas autopilot does.
About the star wars lightsaber thingy you talked about, it's not a laser, a laser is just concentrated light, it's probably plasma or something similar
the guy who died in the Tesla was a big public advocate for auto pilot. he had posted numerous videos and been very active since the feature launched so this wasnt a result of negligence or recklessness. i thought that should be mentioned since other channels (coughtechtalk ) did their homework and knew who this guy was. it DOES change the conversation a little bit.
#LinusPasswordTips 29:01
I was wondering if they would edit that out, even if he immediately changed it. I came to the archive to see that one thing.
now its changed
lol
I laughed too much :D But...Great guidelines for passwords :D
LOL fail
I appreciate the support. I received an email from Linus at 4 in the morning. 4 in the morning with encouragement and support; who does that after you're an asshole to them like I was? That means something.
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your positive thoughts and email.
This win 10 thing is BS. My own stepmom called me aggravated at it.. now I have to fly out and figure out how to get her back to Windows 7. Aye.
$10,000 from Microsoft is like me digging into my pocket and giving you a penny.
very true!
Class action suite to come?
That woman still got a pretty penny
I want my penny!
Since Microsofts net worth is 70 billion. You would have to own 70,000$ for your statement to be true.
There is nothing better than a lazy Saturday morning drinking coffee and watching this show. It's becoming an awesome routine that I look forward to all week.
Keep up the awesome job that you do here!
Last time i was this early Eu was still in Britain.

GREAT JOB GUYS LOVE THE SHOW! Watch it every Monday (im in AUS) gets me through work! hope next week is as better for you as show makes the start of my week better
Why Windows suck so much? And how can they get away with it for so long, is beyond me...
because the other solution is ios which sucks even more and linux that most people dont want to bother with. plus most games exist only in windows
+Giorgos Chatziioannou (LezantasGR34T) games are not even remotely why windows is so popular.
+SpotOn just said my opinion, i dont have any stats to back it up, but i doubt anyone does anyway
There aren't any good alternatives. Linux is for hipsters, and Mac is expensive.
28:53 what the fuck. ????
apparently linus is not security expert :D
I guess thats how his account was hacked lmao
I thought they'd edit that bit out of the youtube copy. haha
They should seriously have a screen in front of them that shows what we are seeing, all the time.
Ashok KP they have. still they fuck up
dennis' english has improved like mad
Linus back at it again showing his passwords
The empathy you showed when talking about the death of another person was....wow.
am i the only one who hasnt had any trouble with windows 10?
the random updates making my internet lag for a while is my only issue, the computer itself doesnt slow down, if that counts
Windows 10 runs perfectly fine for me and likely most other people. I understand there are privacy and other issues but they are largely overstated by a vocal minority.
Kevin McArthur the privacy issues are with all the companies, windows are just admitting they are spying, hahaha. honestly if the updates werent forced and you could choose when it happens it would be amazing

you cant disable them properly, there is no actual way. you can delay them for about a month, but thats it, if it wants you to update, you update.
i wish people would stop supporting apple
There is no support for any of the claims made in this video.
yea i meant stop buying apple products

if there's one thing to know about apple is that they are a shady company
I say it as "Noo-gah" instead of "Noo-gat", anyone with me?
Yep a lot of Aussies say 'noo-gah'
Dezza2241 Well, being an Aussie myself, I guess that makes sense :)
+Dezza2241 idk how ppl say it in UK but i think mars bars and milky way is what it is.
It is a french candy and is pronounced noo-gah.
I pronounce it "nih-gah"

I like how real you guys are, I know people use that word a lot, but in the first minute you guys are open with what's going on to some degree, and show your empathy.
JayXdbX
That is completely irrelevant to THIS case.
The developers of orion prelude have come out and said that one of their artists did in fact steal assets from activision.
+Gerff
_"That is completely irrelevant to THIS case."_
really? okay i'll let you explain why that is then.
_"That is like saying someone is guilty of causing an accident where someone pulled out in front of them, because they caused an accident one other time a few years ago, things do not work that way."_
Well first off that analogy is wrong.
Is it reasonable to think this might be his third attempt?”*
for all we know this is just happen chance it was like the past two times. Is it warranted that you be more suspicious of this third attempt considering his history?
Basically it’s the real life version of the boy who cried wolf. Even if their innocent people are less likely to believe them because they have a history of doing this type of stuff. So I think those two past instances are relevant to this case.
_"the BEST argument that Activision has, is that this developer decided to use them as a middleman in the unlicensed use of an asset modeled after the H&K SL8, rather than copying the actual firearm directly, as it looks like they actually did when you compare the two ENTIRE models to the real thing."_
So basically the best argument Activsion has is:
_“They stole our models rather than copying the firearm directly?”_
Which was more than Activsion was claiming. Not trying to be obtuse but with all the lawyering tip toeing you added that’s what I honestly thought you were trying to say without directly saying it. My second best guess on what you were trying to say is
_“Activision used (stole) their models design from a gun manufacture. Said models were stolen later but because Activision usage of them wasn’t right/legal this makes stealing them (from activation) alright.”_
I disagree with this core argument and it’s even worse since now the company is stealing from Activsion and the gun manufacture even if Activsion is in the wrong and the developer didn’t know they were stolen(which is kinda defeats the basis of the argument); but I’m unwilling to go further in criticism as this is an assumption of what I think you were trying to say and I’m unsure how accurate this would be. I’m also sure I’m edging the line for straw man fallacy so I’d rather let you respond to correct my misinterpretation.
_“Yes, the models in game, of the sight rail (just a PART of the gun) are similar,”_
For the second weapon image, the rail is from the M8A7, the butt all the way slightly past the trigger is from the Haymaker, the pump is from krm-262, and the barrel from the Man-o-war.
_“but they are not EXACT (the scaling is different for many of the details, and there are other differences in curves, edges, corners, etc.),-”_
Covered this. Nothing to add until he responds.
_”and both are pretty accurate representations of the original.”_
This statement will always harm your argument unless the person reading it doesn’t think the second set of models were stolen from the first. I already listed what guns/parts I think they stole based on evidence I’ve seen. What I’m trying to say is, “this adds to people bad opinion rather than helps your argument.” Nothing to add besides that.
_” The rest of the guns they call into question are VERY different from each other and also based off of existing firearms or parts of existing firearms (A shotgun looks like a shotgun, they all have the same basic model and mechanics);”_
All the guns have an element of Black ops 3 highly detailed model.
I just brought it out, and it needs to be addressed and discussed”_
Hmmmmmmmm….

(Ya right. Like Euro gamer made that image. Come on punks, it’s from reddit)
TL:DR
About 1% +/- .99% of the guns are original mesh for at least 1 gun. They stole parts from several gun models to create their own with very little modification. The only difference is small and easy to miss edits in the mesh, a clip, new texture, and possibly a new bump map.
first WAN show watched abroad, greetings from Taiwan! :D
why was Android N called Nougat not Nutella!!!
because Nutella is a brand and nougat is a dessert
Because they don't own the rights to that name.
oh yeah
+TechGeniux Well I think KitKat teamed up with Google while Nutella didn't.
Did they own the rights to KitKat?
Awesome WAN show as usual guys keep up the great work and thank you for doing this with your time!
Hi guys, the Asus Strix GTX 1070 is currently in stock at newegg. You're welcome :)
Thank yu
Well I don't thank you, so don't say "your welcome"
+Steve Johnson No one said "your welcome" dumbass.
+Terran Loyalist the initial comment said your welcome
MegaUltimateHD No, the initial comment said "you're welcome"
Linus if you wanted to bulk replace the twitter handles in the description you can use Tubebuddy since it has a find replace function and do it across multiple videos. You can also update links that you have in the Info cards with it too if you need to. Sorry you've been having such a rough past few weeks, it seems like you've just had a lot of rotten luck lately all things considered. I hope things turn around for you soon!
Higher Quality = Bullshit, I enjoyed the Kitchen videos better they felt natural these feel fake.
But everyone else agrees these are better.
#KitchenMasterrace
So, you're a nostalgia-bag.
***** Sooper ejy.
began laughing hysterically when he showed the world access information to his twitter account on screen.
50:40 "did you just do that again?" LMFAO. Great stuff!
Wait wtf why should TSA have to pry out from you who you are and what you're doing here?
It's not their business...
(EU opinion)
Did you not notice what happened in Turkey? Like it or not but terrorists exist, I don't care what the EU says, you need security.
Dennis has gotten so much more confident on screen. Good for him.
I'm first, everybody else is lying.
You're right
Why didn't that create a black hole?
Wait. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa....
this was a stream, you are fucking late
Vilius dgehjebeg Nope, you were late for the brain cells.
Louis Rossman has confirmed that he is not currently being sued. The video was vague because he didn't, and still hasn't gotten all the details as to why he was contacted.
vote trump
Thanks for talking about Louis, if you check his channel, it looks like from his latest video that they are going to be alright.
Great show guys! Watching from Qatar. Glad you didn't have issues with screen casting your passwords, people are crazy!
*slowclap for the screen shared password*
Also, you can use a large grid of ir leds rigged up in either a flashlight type use or on a car somehow to block out many types of cameras with just simple overexposure.
Best wan show ever imo, so much true points there. Good job guys.
Dennis' English is improving really fast. Props man :D
I was hoping they'd talk about the RX 480 power issues :( It's seriously a mess right now online
www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-750-ti-review,3750-20.html
Like they talked about 750Ti power issues? Or GTX960 issues? It's all BS. Nvidias cards are worse offenders if it mattered.
Though check every overclocked card out there
From what I've seen from AdoredTV he shows that for example the 960 had the same issue and if you overclock it also takes more power from the PCIe slot
Adam Budai I know about that, I've watched it, I've told this fella about it.
basicly what i haerd its bcuz some ppl use old motherboard that can barely supply enough power on the pci bus
yea, doesnt just about every card pull more than 75w from the pci slot? and if you overclock it it pulls even more.
Glad to see Dennis again :D
You guys were kinda looking at the wrong comparison images for the Orion takedown.
Haha, I saw you fuckin with twitter and immediately thought "dude, what are you doing!?"
"He used it in the great war of buying things at Wallmart" "Was it Black Friday" Making that whole line Luke came with make sense and plausible :P
I was watching this video, brain dead as usual, but then Dennis came on and I instantly liked.
The easiest time I had crossing a border was just taking the Autobahn to Austria :D
Luke's scared of the Maximum Overdrive scenario: that's adorable.
Hey Linus,
Think there are Multi-Activation Keys (MAK) that can be activated/reused regardless of hardware (we use one to activate our Windows 7 Pro via WDS).
Regards,
- Ed
For a split second you can see their release schedule at 1:00:55 - 1:00:56
Hahaha thanks for the password and the backup recovery code Linus. Man that is gonna be a chore to change everywhere you used that.
20:00 i can understand your frustration with the windows support due to the job related difficulties, but i personally had 4 good experiences with the windows support, the last one was me reinstalling windows from 1 cd which auto entered a product key and then switching the key which for some reason resulted in most windows services just uninstalling, which is a weird reaction to a changed product key imo :D... anyways, i contacted the support via chat and did all the stuff until he realized that something major went wrong so he asked to take control with their integrated system and after ~3 hours everything was fixed and is running perfectly... i honestly expected them to say "if you dont have the original cd to your key then buy another key" because thats the kind of thing you would expect from windows, but instead i just got my pc fixed while doing nothing :D
the driver was also watching a DVD MOVIE, and other persons who were at the car crash saw the movie STILL playing after the crash
Favorite time of the week.
You messed up the description!!! The Android N is name "Nougat" comes AFTER the sponsors!
28:55 that was epic!
i still think the way to go is aluminum tracks on the physical freeway so a car can navigate by looking at a line and already know where to go on a pre determined destination.
lol they didn't realize there was no sound.
Linus whispered "can you find out what he is talking about"
Agree with you implicitly where the comments on the distinct lack of support available from MS.
Is it just me or has Dennis' English gotten a lot better all of the sudden.
A light saber would in actuality would be a cloud of extremely hot plasma held in a "blade-like" shape by an electromagnetic field, like a handheld tokamak, which we have achieved before, however the main problem is the amount of energy that it would require.
i'm surprised no one noticed how easily that tesla autopilot crash could have been avoided
the simple implementation of sonar on the front bumper could have saved that poor man's life
wooo weee but, those are parking sensors...
sonar systems in boats can scan to the bottom of the ocean. if that isn't enough distance,i don't know what is.
Not sure how much they cost, as it's always been the company that I work for that supplied them, but with an MSDN license, I have gotten Windows keys that can essentially be activated ad infinitum.
Since the Mircosoft Stores have been opened, their support has been free and fantastic but then I guess not everyone lives near one.
Dennis fits pretty well on the show. More Dennis please! lol
Hmm, just wanting to point out, if you look at the M8A7 comparison (and read the white text) the top rail is entirely the same. Even with the blue arcs around that nub thing
Sony has actually four disc based consoles (not counting handhelds). Original PlayStation CD-ROM, PS2 DVD, PS3 Blu-Ray and PS4 Blu-Ray.
That means Oculus games can be played on a Vive without breaking the DRM, but you still need a mod in order to do it.
easy fix....install Linux and start benching and testing on Linux. No need to purchase.(depending on distro)
Autopilot is a misleading name if it is only an assist feature. The definition of autopilot is "a device that steers a ship, aircraft, or spacecraft in place of a person". The definition of autopilot doesn't require hands on the wheel, whereas Teslas autopilot does.
Cambodia? Never thought I'd hear that word coming from you guys. My parents home country.
I'm fucking dying hahaha, the look on Linus's face when he sees his password, after all the shit he just went through. I feel bad, but i did laugh.
About the star wars lightsaber thingy you talked about, it's not a laser, a laser is just concentrated light, it's probably plasma or something similar
wow, I wish I had thought of that. went across the country to reinstall windows 7 on my grandpa's computer just a week ago.
Great job injecting Galaxy Quest into this. I approve.
the guy who died in the Tesla was a big public advocate for auto pilot. he had posted numerous videos and been very active since the feature launched so this wasnt a result of negligence or recklessness. i thought that should be mentioned since other channels (coughtechtalk ) did their homework and knew who this guy was. it DOES change the conversation a little bit.
