I was happy to see Heartthrob Memorial suddenly appear! Love is a Balance looks like a fun game too. I haven't played it before, but I'm glad it's been preserved and made available to English speakers too.
You really picked an obscure one here! Never heard about it, baffling and fun to be introduced to! The extremely shallow view reminds me of Mappy Kids for Famicom 😀 The premise is so absurd it becomes funny!

The SNES always has something you've never heard of tucked away for you to discover. I've been avidly combing through its library for the better half of 10 years and still find games I've never heard of 😂

I think this a fairly new translation, too. It's so cool to see really obscure snes games still get translated
Man, thank your for posting this review! After watching it, I tried the game at a friend's birthday party and we had an absolute blast. It's unbelievably simple, but there were so many hilarious moments in our playthrough. The only issue was the later parte of the game, were there was only one girl left and everyone was fighting for it. There's too many ways to stall and the game just never ends. I think they should add a timer or total turn count or something.

That sounds like a blast! I'm glad I could help you find this game! Gotta agree the late game does get tough when you're fighting for the last girl. I had the AI cheat me out of that date on a few runs. But I imagine it's more fair with other players.

I think I mentioned it was 3 player? But all of this footage was captured from my steam deck on a flight, so multiplayer was out of the question at the time
