  • Welcome to Episode 5! And thank yall for sticking around and sharing in our Adventures. In this Episode we make our way to Cuba, New Mexico from Grants. We rode just a little over half a day in this Episode as we carved the desert twisties and hit a rough section called Mesa Creek Trail on the hard tracks. One of, if not my favorite day on the trail. I hope you enjoy it and stick around for Episode 6. The gnarly stuff is just getting started!

Awesome!! Really inspiring. I think what your video really reinforced is I need to find compatible riding partners and not have a go at this stuff alone. At 60 with old injuries that limit my desire to push any sort of limits that might be hard to find. I came off 5 years on my KLR to the Tuareg and it was the best thing I ever did. Thanks for taking the time to make this available for us!

Hey Philip.Thank you for watching! It truly helps to have a couple buddies to ride with. Help with issues, or if you get hurt for sure. The Tuareg has been a joy so far and it seems to get better with age. Thank you for stopping by and sharing in our Adventures! More episodes to come!

Your making this east coast rider jealous. I've got the NMBDR on the to do list.

The NMBDR looks awesome! We were close to it, and weren't far from Truth or Consequences at one point. New Mexico was definitely a challenge! It challenged me from start to finish. If it wasn't the heat, it was the technical stuff, or both. Made for some awesome memories though. I'm also east coast. Sort of. I'm in middle Tennessee. So you can imagine when I hit that sand I wasn't ready ha. Not sure I ever will be, but improved a hair after all we rode. Highly recommend New Mexico. It kicked my butt. In the next episode you'll see what I'm talking about. Rough!

Thanks for compiling your episodic adventure although your nuts for taking on that heat! What tires were you running? I still have Pirelli STR Rallys that really skate around hardpack with loose gravel.

Thank you for watching and sharing in our adventure! I definitely got heat exhaustion for sure. I wanted to ditch the jacket but the terrain was so rocky at times I didn't want to lay her down and land on a rock ha. So I put on the Motoz Rallz front, and ran the desert H/T rear for the first 3/4 of the trip. I lost the rear in Colorado and the front had to be patched. Stay tuned for episode 7. I've got to finish it up and get it posted. Should be a few more episodes left in the season to enjoy. And thanks again for watching!

Hi, can you send a link to your phone mounting system, because its very small and look really great :)

Hey CG, it is a game changer. I finally broke down and spent the money for a nice charger mount. Easy on and easy off. Charges the phone and also is in position to run NAV. Nothing like it out there.
