Fantastic! I used to work until 2:30 am, didn't get home until 3:30 am, had to wind down after work so I couldn't fall asleep until 4:30 - 5:00 am. My neighbors driveway was right outside my bedroom window and EVERY morning, around 7 am or so, he'd be out there with his leafblower. Even if there were only 10 leaves on his driveway. Total OCD I think. But, I very politely explained my sleeping situation and asked if he could hold off on leaf blowing for a few hours in the morning so I could get actual sleep. He would say OK but then still be out there at the crack of dawn. 3 times I asked. My husband at the time had his own landscaping business, so we had a leafblower too. The neighbor also had a couple kids and a brand-spankin-new baby. We waited until about an hour after all their lights were out then my husband would stand outside and just REVV the engine until he saw lights turn on. Then he would stop and come back inside.... until we saw the lights go out, and let them get settled in and hopefully just fall back to sleep. Then he would go back out and rev the motor until lights came back on.. Rinse. Repeat. I think we did that around 3 or 4 times. ... and just like that, the neighbor never ran his leafblower in the early morning again. It was the absolute best revenge ever. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in a similar situation. ☺
People have probably gotten murdered for less, but you do you. I'm this petty but I got kids, and a feud doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. Also if they were going to bed and you woke them 4 times, it's probably illegal. The law usually says 10pm, so if you got in under the wire, you are doing what he did to you. If it was after ten they could call in a noise complaint and they probably have recordings of what you were doing the 3rd/4th times.
@@CO-ze8kpthe law also says not before 9am. Which he did way earlier. Even though I asked nicely many times. Day after day after day.. we only had to do it ONE day. He got the fkng message. I'd do the same thing all over again if I had to. Be respectful of your neighbors because they can serve it right back to you.

I think your neighbor is on to something. I imagine he used to be normal, until he had to live next to someone that drove him nuts. I really think the problem is that houses are too close together. U cant live that close to someone and not get annoyed at some point. Smokey is right on a large part of it, but there is another side. If your neighbor is obnoxious, you should be the stronger and have the patience to be the example, instead of stooping to the same level.
