I spend about an hour a week sorting emails.
When I moved in with my grandparents my grandpa was very negative. We were having a hard time because grandma got the Alzheimer's (the forgetful) disease. My grandpa was so negative that the biggest way to stay positive was to subscribe to as many positive daily emails as I could!
I actually love to organize, so it's relaxing for me. Now I can tell my friends about this because not very many people love to organize like I do

so the emails will still be in the inbox all the same?
I am helping a friend set up Yahoo filters, but I like the filter to attach to the email and leave in my inbox until I view the email. Then when I've seen the email, I can click archive and move at that time. Can this be done in Yahoo?
I get way too many email from way too many different sources, the one I'm concerned most about is a government email in the actual email itself it has an image of the acronym GOP, if the subject is always different, how can I sort all the future emails into one specific email? I was hoping for more details, like which filter did what and what to put into each, and how to find what is needed to put into each
Can you set it to have multiple different sender's mails (ie. shopping) all be sent into 1 folder instead of separate them by each folder when I just want to filter them by type.
This was SO much easier to do in previous versions of Yahoo Mail. Can't stand this new version.
That’s what I did. But the filter simply did not run or work. The messages just remained in my inbox, as before! Help please?
I get a lot of emails from retailers. I don't like to read them all, but I do want to get therm. I want to filter them all into a specific folder. I made a list of the usual sender name, not the email account. Some include these:
“Eddie Bauer” Shutterfly “The Children’s Place” “Amazon Local”
Do I just put them all in the Sender field under "Contains" criteria and will they all go to my designated folder? Or do I have to create a different filter for each and every sender? Does it work off sender email or does it work of the working name?
What if the emails do not move after the filters are set up? How to fix that?
Why my emails moved to folder disappeared? How to view them back?
can i make a folder for people ? On my apple iphone yahoo app has a people in the left column so i can click on and just get emails from my friends trying to do that on window 10 computer ?
How can I create rules in Yahoo so emails will automatically go to Trash? I tried by using filters and blocked email but those emails didn't automatically move to trash after I set up the filter/blocked email.
