We had a quick stop at Dunure on our journey towards Wigtown last month. We did not have time to stop at Culzean. Thanks for making me see what i missed. Again! Time... Can you believe that i already booked my flight for next year.
Completely captured the beauty of this place. Love the descriptions and the slow discovering of the land. I'm surprised about the silent z too! Thank you for this!
Cheers mate I really enjoyed that you're very honest when you don't know something lol I'll make my way through your other videos because I love my country as well
Eddie you videos are pure dead brilliant. You are in the habit of making me feel terrible homesick, ( I have been working in Nigeria for the past 11 years). I was born and brought up in the east end of Glasgow in 1948. My maternal great grandparents came from Maybole. I spent all my school summer holidays in Maybole. I know the area very well, spending many a summer day on the Croy Shore with my grandmother and Maybole cousins.. I am not sure if you are aware of the 'Eisenhower Room' , General Eisenhower , in Culzean Castle dedicated to him by the Scottish people for the American help in second world war. Without these guys we would all be speaking German.
I didn't know about the Eisenhower Room. Incredible to think of the herculean efforts that went into preventing Hitler invading - I'll be briefly touching on one such feature in my next video, due for upload probably within the week.
How did I miss this one! Brilliant once again. P.S. We're back into lockdown here for 5 days. The UK strain has appeared and we've not started the rollout of the vaccine yet. Hope you're keeping safe Ed.
Thanks again. Clearly coming in and out of lockdown is a temporary measure, and it is the vaccine that is the main thing. As has already been said, like the flu vaccine, we will now have a Covid-19 vaccine each year for older folks, but right now, until we get the majority vaccinated, we're pretty much stuck in a continuing nightmare. Take care.

Thank you. I'm becoming quite adept at mispronouncing place-names.
Brilliant watch 👍
Stunning place, wonderful scenery, terrific vlog !
Many thanks. It's hard to beat Ayrshire for coastal beauty (and jellyfish!).
Gorgeous scenery!
Childhood memories of a School day trip to Culzean Castle! 🙂
