I love this suite. I travel with my son with autism and we are family of 6. Plenty of room for my son’s medical equipment (he has a special bed to keep him safe). No balcony to stress out over, but we still have suite benefits and plenty of space. We are cruising on Independence with mom. We reserved both of these rooms.
Had this on Adventure solo by Royal up. It was my favorite cabin ever! Views can't be beat. Lightning at night when at sea is amazing. I've had Grand on down and I would take this any day!
Love it! We are cruising next weekend on Indy in this suite for our family of 4. Such a great option! Other cabins with bunks- Ultra Spacious Ocean Views (both with and without balconies). Little bunk “room” like in this suite! ;)
Very spacious! No balcony? But floor-to-ceiling windows give one of the most awesome ratios of outdoor viewing and natural light per square foot, I estimate. Is the 8-pack of water-bottles on the desk the new version of the welcome-aboard beverage for Emerald guests and above? I read that a very recent change was the options were removed for at least some levels of guest and there would simply be water-bottles awaiting them in their room on embarkation-day.
Some of the inside cabins on Margaritaville at Sea have bunk beds, on Mr Bucket List’s RUclips channel he shows their bunk bed room on his video review. He said they were cool and switched him to another room, but for two adult platonic friends traveling together on a budget I can see how bunk beds would work especially for a weekend cruise or short cruise. I’m a big fan of power banks too, so I do okay on cruise ships because I always have several portable power banks and can live without outlets! The huge window is so pretty and there’s a lot of space for storage! I can see the downsides that it would be a very noisy room though but with ear plugs it still seems like it would be great for a short cruise. I really liked the sofa and seating area, looked very spacious. Love how the TV pivots! The coffee maker was such a nice touch! Can you use it to just boil hot water for tea also? So nice to see bottled water, I know some cruise lines are really cutting back for environmental reasons and only offering boxed water now. I guess I’m old fashioned but I prefer the taste of the bottled to the cardboard water 😅 Two bathrooms would be such a treat! Despite the chair that’s seen better days, this does seem like a really nice room. I hope you have a great cruise!
I have been trying to get on Margaritabille for ages now! I have dollars there from the restart but everytime I try to book solo, the system tells me they don't do that! Coffee maker is amazing and comes in a junior suite and above. You can just run water through it and they have Tazo tea bags you can also use. This trip, I got 3 bottles of water and a glass liter bottle. Not sure why not all one or the other.
@@TheWeekendCruiser thanks so much for the reply! I haven’t had those issues with just going through the motions to price check dates and bookings for Margaritaville at Sea and the only date it wouldn’t let me book solo was for the 3rd of July (so for 4th of July) sailing, though it would still let me book 2 people in an interior - I’m guessing you could still just suck it up and pay extra if you wanted right? They wouldn’t not let us sail would they? Luckily I think my dates are not going to end up being holidays after all, and it’s letting me book as a solo for any other dates that I’ve tried! Would be really fun to do a vlog about that. I’d honestly love to check out the junior suite and the balcony cabins there- pretty affordable if you catch one of their never ending sales. I wonder if you jumped on the phone with them if they would give you a deal on the junior suite because you do these vlogs - I know some of the other cruise vloggers have made a few and it looks really fun! Everyone told me MSC would be terrible and I have loved it so far so I am going in with low expectations and I think I’ll enjoy it. It’s good to know tea is an option in some state rooms - I get jealous watching the British cruisers always show tea in their state room tours. So far I’ve only had state rooms really far away from the buffet for hot water so maybe that’s why it seems so appealing! I think the cruise lines are trying to phase out the plastic water bottles probably. I do enjoy the finer/fancier brand waters when I’m on vacation but also am happy with regular bottled water. Now that I’ve been on a couple cruises anyway I know how difficult it can be to get a drink of water and I’ll never cruise again without a giant refillable tumbler!
@@lexa_power haha love it! Live and learn! Not sure why I can't wiht Marg. I have tried booking solo and it tells me no. I could book two and then have the ghost me not show up but I hate to work a system like that if I don't have to.
@@lexa_power [1] Every cruise-ship that I have experienced or toured has had teas and the variety is quite impressive. @@lexa_power [2] Apart from the extra option of room-service (24/7), I like the benefits of leaving my room to go to that upper deck just to get something fresh and hot. You can still have a great time Brent! Full ship tour coming this weekend! It's actually already done but I went to make the video on the computer and a file had disappeared.
It is true! These rooms were added during amplification I believe... they took space from the spa and made this entire section become revenue generating cabins.
Good question! You are not required to keep the curtains closed in this room or at least I have not seen a sign. Stayed in other forward ocean view window rooms where I have seen signs though.
Just found your channel from your virgin cruise since that's what I'm planning on going with my husband so I'm over here watching multiple videos all of a sudden, we live in Jacksonville so only a short drive to port of Miami. I'm really curious for this specific room what is the rate ? especially when traveling with kids it seems perfect with little ones. I'm definitely looking forward to booking virign and it will be my first ever cruise so any times please send them my way.
The rates really vary dramatically from this room. As there are only 2 of them, they are not always cheap and are full suite rooms. I always hate to quote prices as they change all the time and I have never understood RCLs pricing model well. It should be more expensive than a junior suite but less expensive than a grand suite :-)
They are on specific classes of ship. Believe it will be in Voyager, Freedom, Oasis, and Icon classes If I was guessing. A travel agent could probably tell you exactly which ships.
haha I do for distance or when I am walking around. On ships, I normally keep them off unless going on land. Good catch! I think this is the first video I ever made with glasses...
I am amazed that RC would not refit the rooms with fresh furniture. Where the heck is the hotel manager? I would be highly disappointed with the worn furniture.
Yikes this looks worse than the Junior Suite in basically every way. We're having RC pick our suite for a Med cruise next year, and it seems the balcony + tub in the Junior makes it vastly preferable.

Thank you so much for doing these reviews. The single picture on the website doesn’t show enough, you rock!!!!
It sure doesn't! And if you are looking at a Suite, you want to ensure you are going to be getting your moneys worth!
i think i put a bid in for one of these for my next one.
There are only 2 of them, so I hope you get it!
Hi Brandon, what a big room! You look great in those eyeglasses by the way!
Thanks Mitchell!
Nice tour Brandon. I really like this suite. Nice trade off of panoramic windows instead of a balcony.
Carnival has rooms with bunks, but not many. There's a twin on the bottom and an upper bunk at night.
Great review, Cousin :)
Hey Cousin!!! I'm always amazed at who finds the channel!
Hope the family is doing well! I let mom know you popped into the comments and said hello.

Hey Brent, I have not yet figured out the water situation. I believe I am getting 3 bottles of water now from C&A but seems to have variability.
Thanks for the cabin tour. Can't believe they left that chair in there! 😳 Love the glasses btw. Hope you're having a great time. 👍🏾

🛳🛳🛳 Carnival Splendor has A1 categories with single bed and drop down from ceiling which is similar set up as bunk bed in suite 1804 🛳🛳🛳
Hello,
How many king beds do you have in there?
Just one primary king bed (splits into twins), a pull out couch, and a set of bunk beds.
