The right side has such "single, rocker dad with teen daughter" energy like I can imagine that that's his little girl and they have the best chemistry with each other

Left side is a type-A home-business girlboss who has always been determined and hardworking, but feels a bit like she missed out on fun in her younger years. She has had a crush on rocker dad since high school and couldn't believe it when he moved in next to her after his divorce. He married young after his girlfriend got pregnant; they had a rocky relationship, so he is trying to give his teen daughter a stable household now. Left side knows she has to take things slow and let him process his hurt, so she decided to build him instruments because she loves his music and it makes him happy and is something that he and his daughter have in common.

It would be so cool if you built the beach house from totally spies, that show is my entire childhood lol. But it would be really fun to see what all of the bedrooms from the girls would look like in the sims!

The story of this two houses is that in the dark house lives a single father with his daughter, and in the other house lives a women that fell in love with the father so she makes instruments for the dad as gifts
I thought she was gonna take all the same items but just change them to whatever the last swatch was, and hope for the best lmao.

Thought this was gonna be an exact replica including furniture but just with the last swatch, so that we can see how silly it looks when you change the swatches on things that started out looking good

I have a storyline in mind for this house. The home owners are siblings and since they are very close, they wanted to live near each other. One sibling is an single parent with a teen kid and the other sibling is married with a lot of fur children (pets). The handy sibling gifted the musical sibling a handmade guitar or violin each year for their birthday as a nice gesture. ❤❤❤
Would have loved to see you use the exact same furniture on the other side but last swatch to see the turn out. Initially I thought that was the challenge but I also feel like you are against doing builds that could turn up not pretty.
you should do a challenge where you make one big community lot that meets the requirements for every single type of community lot. maybe styled as a mall or fair or something else creative! would be a pretty big undertaking, so maybe it could be a short series like bloomburg was. i think there's so much creativity to tap into with community lots, especially ones people tend to overlook!
Love the contrast between the two different sides. I really like the warm colours from the default side but I also really like the blue from the last swatch side. 😊✨✨
I loved this!! But now i feel like you should or could make the fraternal twins in cas items with the same concept default swatches for one and the last swatch on cas items for the other twin

A suggestion for a future video, you've done many nostalgic cartoon builds by now, but some you haven't done, that's also very nostalgic for some, it's very nostalgic for me, could you do every tiny home is a different DC character? Like based on the 90's Batman Animated series? So one tiny home is Batman, the next is Joker, the third could be Superman and last could be Lex Luthor. I would definitely love to see those 😁

I feel like the two houses are like.. two young adults that are friends but opposites and they connect on artistic things so they spend their time in their garages together and now they’re passing it to one of their teen kids.
I would love to see this challenge but like you did the outside; mirror houses that use the exact same furniture with opposite swatches. It'd be interesting to see if it could work for both sides
This video gave me an idea for a build that I’d love to see you try: taking a two house situation like this but trying to make the two sides look as similar as possible without using any of the same items (including build mode and landscaping) on both sides.
So for example, the landscaping from Island Living is super similar (if not exactly the same) as the debug landscaping from For Rent! One house could have one and the other could have the other. Some of the items I think would be pretty easy, but others might be a bit harder (like beds)
Every time I watch your videos I get so inspired and go right in the build mode 😁

Really pretty! Would love to see wlhat it would look like if you decorate default, copy that and then change swatch. If it would be totally mismatched or if it would work out

Love your videos and how creative your mind is! I enjoyed the darker side more on this build too. A video idea for you could be a side by side home like this, only using your style for one side, and then your sister's style for the other side to compare how similar or different your styles are.
no fr, my last apartment before graduating college has such an ugly lighting but lamps changed the whole vibe of the place, it's more warm and inviting

Hey Syd, always love your builds! I was thinking that a tiny home challenge based on the Greek gods and their cabins from Percy Jackson would be such a fun idea! Would love to see you build that.
This build turned out so pretty! It does remind me of my last save. Made a build where I tried to use no duplicate swatches on anything. It was surprisingly fun and I didn't hate the turn out! I recommend anyone giving that a try for a little chaos!

The last swatch house is definitely a single mom with a teenage daughter. The mom gave the daughter the big room so she can have people over, and the mum only use the room to sleep, so she doesn't need the space.

the swatches are definitely arranged by column. because when the swatches aren't uniformly distributed, it's the final column, not the final row, that has space for more swatches.
Typically this would be condos. Townhouses have more than one floor, by definition. Great challenge though!!
I can see the last swatch being the house of a single father and his teenage daughter, and their neighbor it's an all rounded person who helps them because they have a crush on the dad.

So funny to me you compare them to fraternal twins! My brothers are very opposite appearing fraternal twins! One is pale with dark curly hair, brown eyes and a round face, the other is tan with blond straight hair, hazel eyes and a square face 😂

I'd like this to be done with a direct copy, would have been a much sillier outcome! It also might be a good idea to do something like the 2nd-to-last swatch, or middle swatch because you know that's where the crazy swatches sneak in!

I think you should do the dark glam again, you kept being so close but so far, embrace the muted tones or cold colours when you're doing another aesthetic build, I'd love to see it! But for that the warm toned one is my preferred side
It would be cool if you made a challenge that every object you place at home can't be changed later. I love both sizes, but the last swatch caught my eye

I personally imagine that the default is the parents and the last swatch is their kids who wanted to move out but not far away so the parents split the house down the middle.

You should do a spin the wheel generator picks your items.
Design the house as normal but then go room by room and have the wheel pick. Like In the kitchen say a fridge will be 1-15 (or however many items there are) and just go down the list (left to right) in number assignment. Spin the wheel and whatever number it lands on has to be the item you use. You can pick the swatch you want to help better match everything.
You should do this with your fave swatch of an item vs least fave
Can I make a suggestion for videos? How about a series of videos with inspirations from architectures from different countries? Such as Greece, Japan, India, Portugal, Brazil... I don't think it would work well with tiny houses, but it would be super cool ❤ (We have village houses in Brazil that would look so beautiful in the sims)

Maybe you will consider doing a video, where every room is a different country. For example, take by regions: North America + Central America, then South America, then Europe, and Australia can go with everything 😂
It would bring all nations together. All the rooms in that house can be rented by different people from those countries, like a shared house 🏠 😅

You should make the twins that live here!! You could do a challenge to make them, like when you try to make multiple sims with the same base look different or you could even try doing this same challenge but in CAS!! Love your vids I've watched half your channel in only a few months it's bad😅🤣 ❤

I do like the dark side better but the light side has some charm to it too.
I didn’t think the “child teen” room was different compared to the rest of the house I think if you delete the parent room and did what you intended to do it would look good
syd, I kept waiting for you to fix the wrong wallpaper on the garage of the last swatch side during the entire video lol you accidentally added the brick wallpaper to everything! Love the video and def prefer the darker side better :)
