Great VLOG. Tucker and Sammi both need a break from it all and this was surely a nice break. Finn seems content anywhere. Love her new shoes. It takes a lot of patients to travel 6 hours with a toddler and a cat. Tucker will have to work twice as hard to pay for it all, but well worth it. Rarely, on his VLOGS, does he ever complain about anything. I wish I had his patients.

Tucker those "watch towers" in houses were called widow walks, some have outside railings very common in New Enland coastal homes, it's said that wives would keep an eye out for their husband's ships..not an expert, but in my town we had a few homes with them, they're awesome!

@@tuckandsammie I know my bf growing up had one and her house was legit haunted!! 😵 we could hear someone walking up there when I'd sleep over!! Creepy as shit!! Her mom hired a psychic, she said there was a captain's wife who walked around waiting for her husband very sad but I used to have a hard time sleeping at her house LOL

My favorite vacation state. All right it's a tie with Maine! So much beautiful architecture and preservation. The gorgeous old homes. Surrounded by the Atlantic. No time to be bored! I remember vacationing with the little ones and all the extra necessities piled in the car! But they loved it and they're vacationing in the same spots as young adults!
Did you see the Fisher Price cash register ? The plastic coins it came with are rare and sell $$$ Such a good kitty going along on all the trips! 🎃🐱😻💗

Finley Magic was the Star! Loved her boots, and the falling down with Sammie and brush off our knees.. Liked your trip photos , nice to get a taste for some place to visit, The beach and water was beautiful, not into Halloween, but fast forward through devil stuff, your taste thou .. 😮 I always love to watch you all and your adventures.. I noticed how Finley was walking in her boots , I laughed to myself thinking she is only a year old .. And life does go full circle… I am a Senior Citizen and walk just like that now😂😂😂

The house at about 37:00 had a tower you spoke of. That architectural element is called a Widow's watch or Widow's walk.That is where wives of mariners would go up in those towers to look for their husband's ship returning to port ,hopefully.If they didn't return ,the wife is then a widow.
They also lit lanterns in the glass enclosure to give the fishermen a light to guide them into port, there used to be a lot of them, that one is in amazing condition.

I have lived in New England all my life and never have been to Salem Mass. I’m 73 years old, It is definitely on my to go list ! I think you maybe should go in July or August when the weather is much better .

Nahant was a beach I wet to all the time as a teenager. Had an aunt who had a place near where you showed in the beginning. Next time instead of taking 95 the entire way, try the Mohawk trail from NY into Massachusetts very scenic route. From the sound of it you came to MA during the September heat wave.
Same here… we went to Nahant beach all the time!!

You KNOW you are the first to launch that 5 set! So glad you went north into Danvers etc. Next time you're up, hit up into Newburyport, there is an AMAZING, HUGE old wharfside warehouse full of antiques/sellers, you could get a whole vid easy just on that block ,lots to do and see North up into Hampton where I am and beyond, a pretty awesome stretch of seacoast if ya haven't explored it before.
That house has been around a few hundred years never know someone else could have hit the stairs 😂! Thanks for the tips will keep that in mind next time.

I bet those yellowjackets are what we used to call "sweat bees"; they come around in hot weather and annoy you . Had one land in my hair a few weeks ago. They also love decaying fruit, like drops in an apple orchard. The "lookout tower" on the house is a widow's walk; they say ship's captains' wives used to go up there and watch for their husbands to come home.
No thanks on the creeps running around down there! LOL what a beautiful beach. Rocks, and sea shells galore i bet. So glad your home safe and sound. I enjoyed this video alot it was really good. Great underwater footages!!!
