mate. i've discovered you during my graduation.. basically a depressive and stresfull time. and your videos have become like a relaxzation therapy for me. Down side to your videos is that there arent many left to watch. keep me alive during my graduation kevin! make more videos!! i wish i could be there travling too.
Amazing video :-) There are just so many things I loved about it: the introduction part with the park footage, the fast forwards, the sunglasses in the pig foot restaurant, the time lapse, the shoe shining, the night market. And I love the concept: showing all u can do, how much it costs. It was fun to spot a few familiar faces in the vids :-) (Maybe you could have said something more about the pig foot tasting)
I've been binge watching your videos for a while now, and they're AMAZING (except for the part where you're eating mouthwatering food at a low price ha! just kidding). And to be honest it also REALLY makes me want to go to China as an exchange student! Actually I'm currently studying Chinese and International Business in Paris and I've been thinking about doing an exchange for a while now, because what better way to study a language than going/living/visiting the country, right? I don't know if this fits the main objective of your channel, but it would be actually nice if you could do like an interview with foreign exchange students there, about how they prepared their stay, what is their living situation, how do they cope, what are their advice for people like me who are considering going to China, etc. Anyway, keep up the good work, we really like them! :D
Wow, what an amazing vlog. I've only been to China for a layover but would LOVE to go back and spend a lot of time there exploring. Even more motivating seeing how you can do it for so cheap! Thanks for sharing.
Lots of familiar locations there. I spent more than a year in Huaxi, at Guizhou University. Huaxi Park and Qingyan Village are great spots. Looks like you missed the Wetlands Park though, that's a nice place to take a stroll.
Amazing video. I went to China one month ago. It takes me back to China and I love that. Thank you for making this awesome videos! ;) :) ;) P.S.: How can you travel this much? Do you work in China? I am just curious to know.
And what did you before you were travelling? What did you study in the university in your native country? I am just interested. I like how you changed your life. Greetings, Diana ;)
Even if it's only once a month, I'll take it. great to see that you're still making videos. I see that you're sub count has gone up since I first found your channel. I hope it goes up and up to make it worth your while to make more and more videos.
Its the first time someone has called me an orangutan and ive taken it as a compliment. Great video bro! I will keep support you! keep up the great work!!
@@JackandGabExplore If you guys come here by railway, don't stay too long at the railway station. Public security is much more better those years but railway station is a complicated place especially for foreigners, just like other cities in China.

Your videos are so inspiring! Not just for travel, but for making the most out of life every day wherever you are. I'm so excited to go to China next year though!
Yuhang Shen Guiyang is really beautiful. I travelled to there last summer and I even thought if I could rent an apartment in Huaxi district to have a long time summer holiday.
Amazing videos. The only thing missing for me is knowing the day you were there. If your video is posted pretty much when you visit then that answers my question! Just curious for rainy seasons and what not.
Guiyang is hometown! Thanks for uploading the video to let people know how beautiful it is! BTW, if you eat SiWaWa(The spring roll) by only one bite, it will be more tasty since you get the spicy soup all wrapped in the roll : )
Great video Kevin, please keep up the good work! very inspiring. Dalian 大连市 may not be a bad place for a video if you haven't done one already.. will see if you have one for Guangzhou also.. all the food there mmmm
Ey kevin, I am really happy that you are happy living in china and having fun exploring the great country. I am a Chinese student currently studying in the uk and it will be amazing if I ever get the chance to go around China with you one day! Keep up the good work! Hopefully we can meet one day !
Always enjoy your videos. This one was really cool. The city looked dirtier then other cities you have shown. Was this just how it came across to me or did you find this to be the case?
Guizhou Province is a region that receives very little tourism compared to other larger cities and well known provinces in China. I think that, as more people begin to travel here on holiday, it will begin to grow and become more 'advanced' like those larger Chinese cities. Thanks for watching, David!
I love the videos man it really makes me miss china when i went there with my buddies, Check out Yunnan while your in China, really awesome and peaceful place with great food! Look forward to the next vlog! Love your vids! Keep it up!
Are you planning on visiting the central Asian countries (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, etc)? I've always wondered how life is there since you never really hear news from those places.
My hometown Zunyi 遵义 is not far from Guiyang, and I HIGHLY recommend 羊肉粉, 刘二妈米皮 and 豆花面 there. I grew up with these super delicious food and there's no way to bring them with you safely to other cities or find genuine on Taobao. Since I've moved to Hangzhou now I miss them every day. You won't regret.😋
🤣I would like to share something funny about my hometown with u. The name of the city Guiyang means "the sun is expensive" in Chinese, cuz it's always raining in Guiyang, we can hardly see the sun during the winter. But the weather is really good for escaping from hot summer, the average temperature in summer is about 28-30℃. I'd like to invite you guys to visit Guiyang!!!
Lots of great memories from Guiyang.
Guizhou is one of my favorite provinces in China
Glad to bring you back! Thanks for continuing to follow along on the journey David.
I like the South, very interesting le
How was your time in Guiyang? Any advice for two Americans planning a visit?
I’m here!

Update pls
Guiyang is a great city, underdeveloping but full of potentials!
Last year guiyang reach 11% growth on GDP. Now Guiyang is the big data center of China.
We're looking to visit sometime in April! Have you been? Do you have any suggestions?
