I take it the main heating needs to be on constantly then you adjust the individual rooms?

More for when the heating is on you can control individual rooms like upstairs can be cooler in the evening ready for bed but warmer in the morning.

Unfortunately did not fit my radiator so had to return, I replaced with Tado valves they come with way more adapters.
