For people asking why the hunter didn't change target after chasing for so long, it is because as the chase gets longer, acrobat's resources (his balls) gets lower so he becomes a much vulnerable target but it didn't work out for the hunter sadly. If he changes target, then he will have to deal with batter's cricket balls or mercenary's elbow pads if he can't find the postman which is a risky move.
This hunter did so many mistakes during this chase like missing his traps, his blink and not breaking the pallet. Sometimes top hunters have bad days too.

@@renkirito2906 No, it takes a long time just to find postman since he is weak. You will be wasting your time with Merc and Batter, since the hunter only found acrobat, it was better than Merc or batter. Since batter can cancel Hunter's emotions (skill I think can be reached at max) from his second oldest brother (middle) and Merc can just elbow away from the hunter. Postman can't really do anything besides using his dog and letters. (Not being rude btw!!!! just telling you why!)

Why would you change targets? Once you realize the survivor you are chasing is good you have already wasted a lot of time, if you go for another survivor you will waste extra time finding them while letting acrobat get his balls back. You will have to deal with a brand new survivor with all their resources (Perfumes, elbow pads, portals or whatever) and lose 100% . At least in this scenario if the ciphers are decoded Acrobat is a weak target without his balls so it wouldn't be that bad, maybe he could pressure the gates and get a draw (nearly impossible and risky with Merc but sometimes hunters are lucky)
Honestly he shouldn't have chased him in the first place knowing the boat is a hard counter for this kind of hunters and acrobat is kinda op
