Anyone realize that the tab for the Light Subclasses says "Wield the Traveler's Gift" while the tab for the Darkness Subclasses says "Embrace the power within". This might hint that the Pyramids will teach us how to tap into Stasis ourselves almost like magic, rather than having it gifted to us like the Light. This would show Guardians why the Darkness is better than the Light, knowing it can't be taken away like the Light was in the Red War.

They are skilled and well versed in their usage of light/power, but they're extremely vulnerable, and a hive knight knocking you down is not a surprise. Especially with the element of surprise. Enemies of humanity are huge in terms of height, even vex goblins go beyond 6 feet. Tl:dr : guardians make extremely good use of their powers and their movement advantage, but they're not resilient enough to easily go toe to toe with Knights (except some choice titans like maybe shaxx or saladdin). We're basically glass cannons that can resurrect Edit : Warlocks aren't as physically great either, and vex aren't as physical as hive.

Yeah tbh I thought we would get about three darkness subclasses, because how is it fair to have 3 light based subclasses, but 1 darkness you know? We might get new elements for each one too, seeing as how the light subclasses have 3 different elements, but that’s wishing for too much on my end. Either way I would think that the light has something to do with motion while the dark is to keep still, like for example, arc is electricity, it powers things and can even revive others I.e. defibrillator, solar is fire, which cooks and could be a source of energy as well, void is among the stars and is infinite so it never ends, but then since darkness is stillness, so stasis freezes things and keeps them from moving, maybe poison will be one? Because it slows down and stops life as a whole? And maybe you’d get that from the hive? And another would be like taken abilities obviously from the taken? To overwrite wills and stop a species for our own? Idk, this is all extreme theorism, and tbh none of this will come true, but I just see a lot of potential with these darkness abilities and how it could introduce new elements...

@@RACECAR_JONES I've always imagined for one of the attunements: a melee not too dissimilar to the one the exotic provides that leaves pools of acid/toxic clouds akin to smoke bomb (DOT for anyone who passes through but heals teammates), the toxin cloud grenade, acidic splash grenade, and raging spirits grenades would leave pools/clouds on impact, the rift would be just one big pool/cloud, and the super would surround you with a massive pool/cloud (I much more prefer going with gasses) that follows as you move a bit more slowly and you regen health. The attack is just a slow damaging health siphon in an area around you. The second attunement would have more DOT instead of the pools/clouds and is built for giving yourself health from others. The super would have a smaller/no cloud but you move much faster and siphon from a longer distance with more health received. Each version of the super can use abilities as normal, which kinda makes me just want it to be like the sunsinger in D1. The most fun attunement, the necromancer, would be a snowball. If it's good from the start, the balance would be more difficult than it'd already be. With every enemy that dies with a DOT effect on them that all the abilities have, a fancy, glowing animation plays from them to you and you gain a soul. You can hold up to fifteen at a time. A charged grenade summons up to three thralls/ghastly guardians that charge the enemy at the cost of a soul each (the utility wouldn't be as great as the fly then explode raging spirits grenade on it's own, but the damage would be better when three summons start attacking). They'd last for up to ten seconds but they have low health and only attack those in yours or their line of sight or their relatively small detection range. A charged rift will activate as normal and will summon up to two ranged acolytes/ghastly guardians at the cost of three souls each. They'll have the same health as a no resilience Guardian, last ten seconds, and have decent damage but not super consistent that they feel like turrets. The melee shouldn't be special, but I think the poisoned enemies should recieve more damage from summons. The super functions like before but will summon a knight/Guardian golem thing at the cost of six souls each. The first is ranged, the second is melee. Both super beefy. You're fast, have a small cloud around you, and can siphon health like before (which doesn't do a lot of damage I might add), but you summon a charging ally every 1.5 seconds and a ranged ally every 4.5 at no soul cost (it takes the place of the thrall). The ones summoned by the super don't expire until 5 seconds after the super ends or you die. The super in general lasts a while because it just doesn't do a lot of damage on its own, if any bonus damage at all if it's like sunsinger (maybe a self revive with enough souls? It's not like it'd be easy to get in PvP and trials would be impossible). Note: summons would probably last longer in PvE. The whole attunement is based on AI doing their jobs and the players doesn't gain anything so they'll need need the summons to have more opportunities to do work

I'm hyped for Xivu Arath finally making a move. This whole time, we've been trying to grasp Savathun's plan and have not been keeping an eye out for the Hive's God of War. Hoping that she doesn’t end up as a season end boss like the Undying Mind. All three of the Hive gods deserve to be raid bosses.

Yeah tbh I thought we would get about three darkness subclasses, because how is it fair to have 3 light based subclasses, but 1 darkness you know? We might get new elements for each one too, seeing as how the light subclasses have 3 different elements, but that’s wishing for too much on my end. Either way I would think that the light has something to do with motion while the dark is to keep still, like for example, arc is electricity, it powers things and can even revive others I.e. defibrillator, solar is fire, which cooks and could be a source of energy as well, void is among the stars and is infinite so it never ends, but then since darkness is stillness, so stasis freezes things and keeps them from moving, maybe poison will be one? Because it slows down and stops life as a whole? And maybe you’d get that from the hive? And another would be like taken abilities obviously from the taken? To overwrite wills and stop a species for our own? Idk, this is all extreme theorism, and tbh none of this will come true, but I just see a lot of potential with these darkness abilities and how it could introduce new elements...

@@RACECAR_JONES I've always imagined for one of the attunements: a melee not too dissimilar to the one the exotic provides that leaves pools of acid/toxic clouds akin to smoke bomb (DOT for anyone who passes through but heals teammates), the toxin cloud grenade, acidic splash grenade, and raging spirits grenades would leave pools/clouds on impact, the rift would be just one big pool/cloud, and the super would surround you with a massive pool/cloud (I much more prefer going with gasses) that follows as you move a bit more slowly and you regen health. The attack is just a slow damaging health siphon in an area around you. The second attunement would have more DOT instead of the pools/clouds and is built for giving yourself health from others. The super would have a smaller/no cloud but you move much faster and siphon from a longer distance with more health received. Each version of the super can use abilities as normal, which kinda makes me just want it to be like the sunsinger in D1.
The most fun attunement, the necromancer, would be a snowball. If it's good from the start, the balance would be more difficult than it'd already be. With every enemy that dies with a DOT effect on them that all the abilities have, a fancy, glowing animation plays from them to you and you gain a soul. You can hold up to fifteen at a time. A charged grenade summons up to three thralls/ghastly guardians that charge the enemy at the cost of a soul each (the utility wouldn't be as great as the fly then explode raging spirits grenade on it's own, but the damage would be better when three summons start attacking). They'd last for up to ten seconds but they have low health and only attack those in yours or their line of sight or their relatively small detection range. A charged rift will activate as normal and will summon up to two ranged acolytes/ghastly guardians at the cost of three souls each. They'll have the same health as a no resilience Guardian, last ten seconds, and have decent damage but not super consistent that they feel like turrets. The melee shouldn't be special, but I think the poisoned enemies should recieve more damage from summons. The super functions like before but will summon a knight/Guardian golem thing at the cost of six souls each. The first is ranged, the second is melee. Both super beefy. You're fast, have a small cloud around you, and can siphon health like before (which doesn't do a lot of damage I might add), but you summon a charging ally every 1.5 seconds and a ranged ally every 4.5 at no soul cost (it takes the place of the thrall). The ones summoned by the super don't expire until 5 seconds after the super ends or you die. The super in general lasts a while because it just doesn't do a lot of damage on its own, if any bonus damage at all if it's like sunsinger (maybe a self revive with enough souls? It's not like it'd be easy to get in PvP and trials would be impossible). Note: summons would probably last longer in PvE. The whole attunement is based on AI doing their jobs and the players doesn't gain anything so they'll need need the summons to have more opportunities to do work
