I find a better way to test the cradle boosters is to leave the phone in the cradle the whole time, and then just plug/unplug the power cord to cycle the amplifier on and off
weboost has a home booster that 10x better than what you are using plus I would check out a company called visible wireless hey run on Verizon network plus they have unlimited hotspot all for $40.00
Visible is cool and all but it’s usually unusable because the data priority is so low on the Verizon network. Especially if your surrounded by fellow travelers
It amplifies your signal, so if you only have 1 bar you’ll have like 3-4 bars. So may have faster / more stable internet speeds. Ultimately depends what kind of data plan / speeds you have with your carrier this just gives you a stronger signal.

Nah just put my phone into it and it boosted my signal
