Holy priest feels really strong. Are you running Serenity chakra cuz it's just a 10? I'm seeing my PoH doing a lot of healing so I think Sanctuary is the way to go at least in most of the fight.
Yes just cause 10m and our tanks were getting smacked hard so being in serenity for the extra single target throughput was very helpful and for people who get bursted and need quick single target heals. Ideally I would swap into sanctuary before prayer of healing and especially divine hymn but with 30 sec CD on chakra Its really situational. In 25m I’d be in sanctuary probably 80-90% of the time
I think disc is a big improvement in terms of playstyle from wotlk but I already miss CoH a lot and IDK how I feel about atonement. How is managing Chakras?
I’m not a huge fan of the atonement play style but disc is a lot more fun than wotlk for sure. Managing the chakras is fun, and it gives a lot of room to do some clutch things. The down side is being chakra locked while it’s on CD or sometimes because of a bug you cast chakra and immediately lose the buff so have to play out of a chakra for 30 seconds
Also on the chakras, it’s not a huge penalty for being any state but sometimes it can be for example on Chimaeron if you get stuck in serendipity during the Massacre you can still AoE heal but you’d probably loose 30-40% effectiveness
2 2 6 is the meta, but this fight is very healingintensive, specially as you have less healing cooldowns relative to enemy bursts compared to 25 man. so this fight in particual 3 healers will most likely be the meta until people have a shitton of gear.
Yea Nils summed it up pretty well. I wouldn’t be surprised if people start off with 3 healers and go down to 2 on heroic 10m. I at least have full 359 I’ll gear which is 10/25m normal equivalent. People are gonna be starting heroic raids in heroic blues / ICC gear probably
Adrytl, can you show me your talents and glyphs? And could you show your statistics? For me, the Holy Priest is the best heler of the whole game, but it is not an easy class to play 🫶🏽
In its current form the healing is decent but the damage canceling effect still sucks and ofc getting people to click it. In later encounters with more healing requirements I’ll probably experiment with it
Crazy how good people have become at the game. I was only 16-17 when I played Cata, but I could barely stay at 32k dps (hunter) in DS normal/heroic gear 😄
Everyday I see more and more Holy Priests instead of Disc Priest, why is that? Oh yeah, Disc now requires skill hahaha... Oh and just btw, I'm not talking about you, I'm sure you'd be good with either one, I'm just saying what I'm seeing on prepatch right now xD

yea it is, I remember doing Omnotron normal for first time with 3 healers and struggling xD
What weakaura pack are you guys using?
Having issues with a lot of addons on Beta so I wasn’t using any weak aura or boss timers here

They have a disc and a holy priest. You can't have 2
