Great discussion Patrick and John. Very thought provoking and I love Patrick’s passion. I agree with the 3-legged industry concept - actual publishing, direct marketing, and what John called the “InfoWars-style” media attention grab. Unfortunately, that third leg is on a continuum that includes borrowed interest and dishonesty at one end of the spectrum. At it's worst It’s definitely not standing shoulder to shoulder with our customers - it is inherently fooling them and looking down on them.
