    In my experience you'll benefit from a bracket or brace from your top inner stud across to your blower bracket it'll help with vibration at high rpm

      I'm thinking about ordering another stainless bracket. I will to have to trim one then weld both together.

    Using the old mechanical fuel pump location for the oil return is pretty clever, imho.
    Edit: Your buddy John did a pretty deep root. So why not grind the weld down? Yeah, I know doing that is just for looks. Or do you feel that grinding weld smooth would weaken the bracket to much? I'm not at all picking on how you're going about doing things!! Just curious is all. I've had to do such things to make something fit or work myself. Just as long as it was safe, worked correctly, and looked the best I could make it.

      I actually wanted the bracket that way for straight, but the thought did cross my mind to grind it flat in just the front. I do appreciate the comments whenever someone talks about another angle to do something the gears ⚙️ turn I'm my small noggin.

      @@TPVPRO Hey, that's no problem. I'm always open to someone else's point of view. Four eyeballs are better than two, in most cases. I know I get really focused on what I'm doing and how I'm doing it. So much so I can get blinders on and miss or not think of things.
      Yeah, once something gets pointed out or suggested, the wheels start turning for me also.
      But it looks like you have things pretty squared away. It's going to be pretty sick once you get'er running again. Think you are going to put her on a dyno?

    Just a quick question, why did you opt to lay the radiator flat as opposed to standing it up more? Just easier to seal to the bed so the fans pull from under the bed?

    • @TPVPRO
      @TPVPRO  6 месяцев назад +1

      Cleaner install and to pull air in. The is a huge hole the size of the radiator under it.

      @TPVPRO I knew that. I have seen it done several differant ways. Just never seen anyone lay it flat. I had a friend that stood his up at an angle then boxed it all in and put little "turbo" scoops on the side of the bed to pull sour in from. It worked great and didn't look too bad either. But was differant for sure.

      @@oldschoolbudgetracing1458 I'm hoping mine works too. 🤞 I mainly did it just because I think it looks cleaner flat.
