Jenn I used to have a tongue scraper I loved too! But my husband who is studying acupuncture said scraping your tongue is really really bad since it's an extension of your internal organs ㅜ. ㅜ I've been trying my hardest to not scrape my tongue but my dental hygiene routine never feels complete!
@@la381 I believe in TCM they do tongue diagnosis so scraping it regularly would hinder a proper reading. "The tongue can be a window into your health and is connected to the meridians and organs." Yea I was just informed by my husband and a few acupuncturists to not scrape my tongue. If it's bad breath I'm worried about, then to use baking soda. I wish I can provide more information. Maybe I can ask my husband later haha

I highly recommend NOT using the weightlifting gloves if you can help it. You will end up growing dependent on them. It will probably suck when you take them off and start getting calluses, but after that period if over and you've developed your calluses, your hands will thank you so much. Moral of the story: don't be afraid of calluses - they are something to be proud of. Think of the gloves as training wheels; as a beginner, you can learn with them. But after you've figured it out, ditch 'em immediately.

I used to use WaterPik but the design may trap water moisture inside the tube and machine that could grow molds!

That's so interesting. What's the reasoning behind not scraping a tongue? In TCM, scraping/massaging an organ is healthy.
