- When Tommy Cooper died on stage in 1984 he left behind an enduring, unforgettable, legacy of comedy mixed with magic. His lumbering bulk, maniacal laugh and anxious features were enough to induce hysteria without a word being spoken. And his talent for both visual and verbal gags had any audience of any age convulsed in seconds.
Heroes of Comedy: Tommy Cooper. Written and Produced by John Fisher. With contributions from Gwen Cooper, Paul Daniels, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Clive James, Spike Milligan, Bob Monkhouse, Johnny Speight, Eric Sykes and Jimmy Tarbuck. Part 1 (combined original parts 1 & 2). From The MagicWeek Video Archive www.magicweek.co.uk - Развлечения

I have met Paul Daniels in the 80s
I saw his show in London and met him afterwards I got his autograph which I still have today
riveting, this
I remember Tommy was every week at the Dutch tv. I was 13.
And i will always remember my dad (R.i.P 2018) was almost rolling over the floor many times..
Imagine that was 50 years ago..
I still watch Tommy here at RUclips many times to give me that happy smile😊
I miss him❤
He just had to stand there and I was gone 🤣😂🤣 lovely lovely man RiP
My comedy hero never be another one like him !!
Pure bliss 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great! I’m just old enough to remember variety shows in the late 70’s/early 80’s- The Muppet Show being my favorite. But these live audience show’s are among my Dad’s favorite childhood memories from Leicester, England.
Brilliant - never heard my 12 yr old son (American) laugh so much
One of the greatest 😂
Has to be the funniest comedian of all time, he even got laughs on his way out
Thank you for showing these love this funny man!!!
Wow, what an Stage Artist First Class no doubt about it!... 😂😂😂! However as many others of his kind his life was not full of that joy he always gave us.... On the contrary!
Does anyone remember " The Plank" whole picture!? With Eric Sykes 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love british comedy... Regards from Bucarest ROMANIA 💐🤗🌹😅
Sir Tony on Tommy-delightful
many of these contributors are no longer with us sadly. Tommy's death on TV i remember, sadly.......
I met Tommy Cooper on Eastbourne train station I was just a little girl Tommy was in a photo booth curtain open....he was spitting on stickers and slapping them on his forehead.i picked up a bit of rubbish from the ground and Tommy signed his name...I was watching when Tommy collapsed Live on his comedy stage RIP Funny Truthful bloke 😊❤
I was talking to my dad last week and he was telling me he saw Tommy at a train station as well. It was Reading station. My dad was on the platform and saw Tommy sitting on a stationary train. My dad raised his hand in greeting and Tommy raised his back. It was a few months before he died. My dad says he looked incredibly pale and ill. But it was still a shock when my dad was later watching him on TV and saw him when he died on stage.
Nutter even when it goes wrong.
Truly magic
The funniest man
All Tommy had to do was walk on stage that was enough ❤
Thank you very much for uploading!
No lie this guy is a family member he's related to my nans mum
He looks like my late Welsh Uncle David Jones, I think the surname was, before it became Bayliss, the Welsh spelling of my surname, as opposed to Baylis.
Can I get your autograph?
Anthony Hopkins sounds more like he's trying to do an impression of Michael Caine .
