- Our babies are finally here!
We are back with a new episode in our “Adulting in Paris” series and this time we are sharing our birth experiences with you all. As first time mamas, giving birth during the pandemic was both challenging and empowering. We could easily sit and talk about our experiences four hours but having our babies with us, we tried to keep it short and sweet.
Dont hesitate to drop a comment if you have any question, we will do our best to reply in-between diaper changes and feeding ;)

I am sooo sooo sorry you had a terrible & traumatic birth experience. My ❤ goes out to you! I hope your healing well. My hope is for a all natural birth experience, even though my 1st son was born vaginally & everything was pretty "normal". I WISH I had the info I had 14yrd ago! I would have just allowed my body to do what its made to do & have LESS unnecessary interventions by modern day Docs who technically have "schedules" to keep & just wanna get home to their families or vacations. There should be NO RUSH in having a child. My mind was totally changed after I seen Riki Lakes Birthing Documentary "The baby making business" ITS SUCH A GOOD EYE OPENER on both sides of having a baby via hospital vs natural with a MIDWIFE/DOULAs. I'm telling you after seeing this..its helped me to realize that births should be LESS invasion & CAN TOTALLY be NON-tramatic but SPECIAL & SACRED RELAXING & BEAUTIFUL ALL TOGETHER ❤ 😍 😀 😊. I AM NOT SHAMING ANYONE if tht wasn't their experience. But MOMS NEED MORE CHOICES & ALTERNATIVE NATURAL CARE IN THESE MODERN MONEY making & ruling times. Most Docs take that God given right away when they go by thier rules & push/pressure & use scare tactics to force mom to make decisions in fear bc lack of experience AND moms being uneducated on what the TOTAL OPTIONS are. Please God bless everyone & don't attack me. And of course at the end of the day A healthy child is ALL tht matters of course. Its just heart breaking to hear trama stories that simply DID NOT HAVE TO BE....😔. Wishing every new mamma out there THEE BEST!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for your honesty Aimee! We need to be better at talking about birth and as you say, inform mothers about their options. An amazing book that helped us to prepare for birth was "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth" by Ina May Gaskin and its a book we both highly recommend.
