Learning via fun TV shows like Spongebob & The Simpsons will improve your French level much faster than trying to force memorisation of grammar rules. Something my students find useful is simply turning on the English subtitles in these videos (where they are not given) and using them to understand the French. Hope this is helpful, Rory :)
