a can of Camp Dry silicone spray will help with the water resistance and staining. I do it to all my carhart, patagonia canvas clothing and it keeps everything beading off for a few years.
Just got a pair of the 11" cargo shorts. They fit better than I expected, are super comfortable, and are really well made. Great fit and finish. I usually wear Duluth Trading fire hose, and flex fire hose,.. excellent as well. Wrangler Riggs are pretty good, but they can't seem to figure out the leg lengths. Carhartt is disappointing garbage !!!
i absolutely hate hammer loops on work pants and will avoid buying a pair if they have one on them. even with all the manual labor services i offer as a business owner i have never found much use with it and just do not like the way they look either
I've tried all the carharts and other brands. These are the most durable work pants I've had- by a very long shot. Going on 3 years rotating 3 pairs and they just dont break. Other brands maybe 10-12 months and they broke at the crotch or shank to high-waters. Recommend if you're in the trades.
Nice review, the price is steep but then again quality is the name of the game as well. When I work outside it’s a pair of American 🇺🇸 made Chippewas over timberland and pretty much everything else for me. Thanks for the video. I just bought a pair of roundhouse American company been around since 1903.
Used to wear carhartt til they went full on woke. Had to buy roundhouse. Full on American made but a small company so it takes a while to get to you. Can’t wait to try them out
I cut the hammer loop off any pants I end up with that had one. A loop is, in my eyes, is the dumbest thing companies do. They don’t hold a hammer well add bulk, and get hung up on stuff.
My only complaint with these is how they sell them as room-y in the seat, but my experience is the complete opposite. I'm a tall, skinny dude and do not possess a large ass. That being said, these things are baggy and soft, but any time I step up or walk upstairs, they over squeeze my butt and give me a wedgie. It drives me nuts. Anybody else experience this?
Victor Angelo I usually rock these or their Keb trousers www.steepandcheap.com/fjallraven-barents-pro-pant-mens?skid=FJR006N-DUS-USS36EUS52&ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6TWVuJ3MgZmphbGxyYXZlbiBiYXJlbnQ6MTozOk1lbidzIGZqYWxscmF2ZW4gYmFyZW50
Not having a hammer loop is a great selling point for me. Hammer loops are always getting cought up against things on the farm.
I agree.
Agreed
Yeah, but don’t put a hatchet in there. At least not a sharp one
Yeah if I want to take a hammer with me I'll wear a tool belt
Could just cut it off

Yeah most of the time you have a hammer you will be wearing a toolbelt anyway

Any comments on sizing? Are they true to size?
The pilliness is from the polyester blend.
you sold me on these pants thanks man
Having the pocket on the side is huge! Thats generally the deal breaker for me if they don't have that.
Side leg pockets is where I like to keep my phone. Also would like knee pad Pockets!
Try Round House work pants.
Thanks for the video. I won’t buy them without a hammer loop or utility pockets on the legs.
The have the cargo pant version
Are the cargo pockets buttons or Velcro? Double knee?
No side pocket or hammer loop. What makes them different then a pair of dockers
