Nah, Blue Beetle, at least the name, is more OG than Spider-Man, as the apparition of the first Blue Beetle was in 1939, while Spider-Man appeared in '64, and Spider-Man himself was based off from a older spider-like vigilante from a pulp magazine.

Then DC bought the character and made it popular again in 1983. Which what you are thinking of.

Blue Beatle has this ability that if the host is dead the scarab will still keep fighting and eventually healing his host like bringing back to the dead just like The Venom (Marvel)... Blue Beatle has the potential to defeat god's like one time one of his attacks harmed THE SPECTER (one of DC's strongest being) and went toe to toe with green lantern, the flash and even superman

In my opinion here’s what I think, Spider-Man’s iron spider suit isn’t even made out of earths strongest material while blue beetles suit is literal alien technology from a far more advanced alien race. This is blue beetles first movie and as unfair as saying experience plays a factor here Spider-Man has the edge. Over Jaime Reyes but I don’t think he would have the edge over the scarab. It’s bio technology made from alien race to take over planets and fight lanterns (I don’t want to go to far into comic lore here but I want to mention this because it was in the intro scene where the scarab was struck by the green energy confirmed to be a lantern) the scarabs have wiped out lanterns before. This tech knowing what they were designed to do and programmed to do I’m sure that previous actions from the aliens would be data stored into the scarab. Blue beetle can survive a nuclear blast, his suit can adapt, his weaponary can also adapt and Khaji da can literally take over. If we’re talking at there absolute best trying there absolute hardest I think blue beetle wins pretty comfortably

In this case Blue beetle and Spider-Man will just have about the equal amount of strength. Besides within a few minutes of the movie we see Blue beetle get the hang of things pretty fast.
