Hello gall.P ! I ordered the Roland TD-1K today + the bonus cymbal. Can you tell more about your setup ? I saw videos in which you play the double bass, did you buy a bass drum pad ? How well are you doing with this kit ? I also see you play fast rythms with open-closed hi-hat (like at 0:15) . This type of pattern is almost in possible on some e-drums, are you using the origin hi hat pedal ou did you upraded it for something else ? Thanks a lot ! You should ask some money to Roland, I almost bought an other one but your videos convinced me.
When I do cross-stick I hear the rimshot sound in my headphones and that's what gets registered when I record, but in editing I'm able to change that specific sound to a cross-stick sound. It's just a roundabout way of getting through a limitation with my drumset using MIDI.

What you’re experiencing is cross-talk, where triggering one pad sends a big enough vibration to trigger another. If you hold the metronome button when you have the kits selected, it will start flashing and then hit the pad of your choice to change its sensitivity. This doesn’t fully fix it but lowering the sensitivity of a particular pad can decrease its threshold therefore eliminating a bit of the cross-talk.
