Presentation details: March 14, 2018 @ Memphis Islamic Center
In this series, Lives of the Sahaba, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions, some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him [S].
While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, this series will provide a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet [s]), including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).

Also, Just on a side note, i would like to mention we, the viewers can't here the questions asked by the people at MIC.
It would be nice if the sheikh repeated the question to the camera before giving his answer.
Very beautiful story of A'di ibn Hatim. SubhanAllah

Finally.....
This took ages.
MashaAllah.
I wish Sheik had gone into one of his tangents about dogs. I badly want to know the rulings of pet dogs. I dont have one, but when I visit non muslims friends, it's awkward to explain why we are 'scared' of their 'cute' tamed dogs. I wish Sheik yasir qadhi would do a session on this. If he already has pls share the link
Alhamdulil laah, finally its out
Jazakallah khair brother yasir qadhi please we waiting mongol invasion please brother
Mashallah
Before becoming Muslim, Thumamah radhiAllahu anhu wanted to do umrah as a Christian? Is it possible for the sheikh to clarify how this could be so?
Al Brunawi someone should bring this to Shaykh's notice, need to clarify
I noticed the same thing !
He is still arab. He must know about this custom.

Some people do mentioned Allah s.w.t. and prophet s.a.w. name together. Is the meat halal or haram to eat. They said it's only our prophet name.

@@24xv555 I bookmarked the prophecies of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him )
The conditions of halal between trained mammals such as dogs or cheetahs and birds of prey have different criterias. Dogs and cheetahs are considered trained when they do not eat from their catch. For birds of prey however, these are considered fully trained when they respond the ijaba or calling back. Even if they eat part of their catch, the remainder of the prey is still halal. Of course the predators must be sent with el bismallah. Another reason for the particular attention to birds of prey is that their very training requires feeding with meat. Cheetahs were trained partly with cheese or jebne. Dogs can be trained with any reward as they are so greedy and being domesticated, their nature is to please their owner.
One last thing is the risk of zoonose in birds is not as high as between mammals.
And Allah knows best.
