    I find the Smallpdf website so helpful to me and I've been using it for quite some time now! I use it frequently to compress large pdf files (not more than 50 mb file size) to a smaller-sized file to save on hard disk or cloud storage space. Comes in very handy most of the time.

Please suggest me a version which will be compatible with my operating system and the second query is what will be the best pdf manager and reader for Windows 7 Ultimate.

    I have a question. I normally use Bing to search. Lately when I put in a search term it brings up this other search engine called search encrypt. Do you know how I can get rid of this? I have looked in the settings on Chrome and also in my uninstall programs

    • @BrettInTech
      @BrettInTech  7 лет назад +1

      +Grandma Shelly In Chrome, check your extensions. Get rid of anything that looks suspicious. You said you looked, but also uninstall any suspicious programs. (Sometimes crapware or malware gets installed with other programs.) If all fails, uninstall Chrome, restart your PC, then reinstall Chrome (or any other browser). Without looking at your computer first hand, there is no real way for me to know for sure.

    • @ShellyHickenbottom1961

    Smallpdf good website! But @Techgumbo what about your data that you load on their website? When a service is free, we pay with our data. Let's not forget that

    • @BrettInTech
      @BrettInTech  7 лет назад +2

      Nicandro, I understand your concern. The co-founder of SmallPDF promises that they do not scan, store, copy, analyze or do anything else with user files. They say that files are only kept on their servers for 1 hour............ Of course, I prefer a desktop solution rather than using the cloud for anything. 🙂

    • @BrettInTech
      @BrettInTech  7 лет назад +2

      Munny, I can suggest you use Microsoft Office Online, which is free and also really good now. (It sucked when it first came out.) Here is a direct link: products.office.com/en-us/office-online/documents-spreadsheets-presentations-office-online .............I would advise against downloading any so-called free software versions of MS Office. Many of those are known to be infected with malware, viruses and other crap.

    Do you have any interest in opening a Patreon?

    • @BrettInTech
      @BrettInTech  7 лет назад +1

      +Gununderman Possibly in the future. Patreon works best when value added content is added. I don't have time for that now. If I go full-time creating for this channel, I will consider it.

    • @BrettInTech
      @BrettInTech  7 лет назад +1

      Yash, write them down and store in a safe place or use a password manager. Personally I only use these crazy hard to remember passwords on my accounts that require extra security like banking and investment accounts.
