I want to add a brim on a one layer knitting machine hat. Since the adult hat for men need to be as big and stretchy as possible. Do I still slip stitch either two or three into hat to make it bigger stretcher. Does slip, single or double crochet stitch stretch the same or is one stretcher than the other? Thank you
That was fantastic ❤❤❤❤❤ TYSM ❤
Really handy to see, thanks Michelle! And you’re right, we *do* all fudge things from time-to-time. Perfect is the enemy of good, after all! 😊
This video was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, it was a big help!
So happy it helped! 😊
Thank you. I love your blog posts about designing crochet garments, and this video is lovely, too!
Thank you! I’m so glad you find them useful 😊

I’m not familiar with adding rib to knitting but I found slip stitch blo the most stretchy ribbing.
Do the slip stitches help tighten the cuff? So more slip stitches = tighter, less = loose?
Lol, guess I should have waited until you explained! Perfect!
Yep, that’s exactly right - more slip stitches gather up that final sleeve round - though too many and you might get holes!
Great, thank you @@DoraDoes
