crappies and walleyes would not survive in a pond like this as they do need a little colder and deeper water with alot of oxygen. Bass and catfish would be the way to go for this pond. .
Put a little of everything in the pond. That's what makes it so fun you have opportunities to fish for different ones. Bass catfish bluegill pike muskee crappie flatheads.
Pike is loaded here in Ireland my brother recently caught one 30 pounds at least he ate the ducks that spawn this season so we had to catch it and get it out we only have a 1 acre pond there at least two more same size or bigger but tjey gone clever too lure now
@tristenevans6370 he could turn it off while filming and if something happens that would be in a video he could always turn it off so people don't notice as fast and get the video out sooner but yeah your point makes sense too
So when I was in the bait business we'd fill a bucket with the powder minnow feed and we'd use a nightcrawler container to scoop out some feed and throw it in the minnow ponds. You gotta walk around it and throw it in so they all get fed. You usually gotta know what you're doing when raising minnows because they require lots of love and care. You can kill them very easily.
Hey Flair, love the vids but would absolutely love to see all of the prep for hunting season, putting in stands, food plots, the whole 9yrds. Just need some more Flair in my life !!!
Northern pike, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish would be awesome for the shop pond especially for catch clean cooks. Also make the pond deeper while making it larger and add structure too with cedar trees
Here's a tip for all of you who are in the bait business and have tanks with minnows. If you get lots of foam on the water take like half a teaspoon maybe even a whole teaspoon of olive oil depending on the size of the tank and put it in the water. This will get rid of the foam. Don't use too much or the minnows can die. If you have a minnow tank the size of the ones that they have at Casey's use a tiny amount
For the minnow feeder, make a stack of palets and put a piece of heavy plywood on top of it and place the feeder on top in the middle of the pond. If that's all the further it tossed feed out then the minnows can hide in the palets under the feeder and get food when it comes out.
Got to do walleye or pike at one of the ponds, your house pond would be perfect, have plenty of structure down deep and they will have plenty of fresh water coming in
Can’t wait for the pre hunting season videos to start!! Hunting season can’t get here any faster! Keep up the great content Flair, always doing good things bud.😊
You need to stock “jackfish!!” In the warehouse pond!! I believe they are called chained pickerel. I catch a ton here in the low country of South Carolina and they are DELICIOUS!! Pick your favorite seasoned flour and fry it up.
I think it’d be fun to watch you catch pike in the warehouse pond. They fight good and I haven’t really seen you catch much for pike. Pleeasseeeeee stock pike!!!
I think you're doing good for just learning on fish keeping. I would suggest white and black crappie, perch more minnows and crawfish. Crappies are fun to catch plus good eating. Crawfish would be great to establish then do some trapping for more seafood boils.
You should go ahead and get a floating dock to put in the pond. It will give the minnows something to spawn on, place to set your feeder and structure for fish.
When we getting the video of “stocking 5000 pounds of big blue cat and flatties” in the big pond at home !! We’re dying for it !!! Whatever you do don’t put Chanel cats in it , it’ll be a pain trying to catch the blues or flatties if you put channies in ! But love how good everything with the ponds been going lately
For predators I would do catfish, rock bass and smallmouth. I think that those would be something different but also fun to catch and cook. Lots of people are saying walleye but they are harder to keep in smaller ponds. If you wanted something similar to walleye than just get some yellow or white perch later on. If you do want crappie I would wait a year before adding them because they will eat and overspawn the fastest. Right now you need more minnows and maybe if you could find some freshwater shrimp add those.
Flair yal really should go to the Large Animal Auction and see what all they have. It’s definitely time for a Grocery Store/Walmart run to get Debbie some snacks. You should break out the Water Drone and put it in the Hatchery Ponds,Backyard Pond and the Shop Pond so you can see what all is in them. You should get some more stuff for the Ponds from Pond King.
I would love to see you Stock, #1. The Tiger Musky. #2. Wipers. #3. Largemouth Bass. #4. Like Half a Dozen Grass Carp just to help keep the Grass and Algae down and then I believe "Fatty Cake Lake" would be complete and an Really Awesome Epic Dream Pond....so that's my 2 Cents on what you Could stock in the pond...by the way I really Look Forward to New Videos they help me to get through the days/ Week 💯%
Build a floating dock on drums you can keep pulling up as the water goes up, maybe even put it on some wheels. Then put the feeder at the end of the dock.
You could build a floating platform for the feeders, then place them where you want them and anchor them down with small ropes, chains or cables so that they don't move around.
Should use big slabs of the leftover concrete and crane them in with the excavator for the boat ramp. A layer of rock for base and then the concrete slabs on top
I've never seen a fish brooder before. I know they use that principle for gamebirds when they try to boost quail or pheasant numbers. But it makes sense!
If you want some more lean on the feeders, you could always dig a little hole to drop the back leg in to get the angle you want without worrying if rocks will throw it off balance.
Great video! Since you're not trying to have a trophy bass lake I'd still put some bass, crappie, and catfish. Not sure if you can but some northern pike would be cool too.
Moultrie makes a 15 gallon directional feeder that mounts with a strap to a 4x4 u could lag bolt a 4' piece to the bridge on the warehouse pond it would be super easy to fill and no feed would end up on the ground it would all go in the water.
My gf sent me the beefcake sample bundle for my birthday. I've been wanting to try it for a while and I must say, the beef, the pork, regardless of the flavor is delicious. I'm saving bags of jerky for her to taste but idk how long that will last lol.
Build a small shed in the middle of your hatcheries for all the fish food, open wires, and some extra supplies for the fish
He is rebuilding the workshop that is a stone throw away.
Those spawn cages will be great snags when fishing. Hahahaha...
Or buy a shed (old hickory is the brand I recommend) on skids. I got a 10x20 with dual lofts brought in for only $800 more than if I built it myself.
The powder (0) is for fry, the fry can't eat pellets. 1-2 is for juvenile to adults in size. Use powder after a spawn so the fry can eat.
Exactly how much baking soda do you add to the mixture? "Asking for a friend"
Crappie, Walleye, Catfish, Northern would be cool! Basically anything you wouldn’t put in your backyard pond!
pike would thrive in that pond
crappies and walleyes would not survive in a pond like this as they do need a little colder and deeper water with alot of oxygen. Bass and catfish would be the way to go for this pond. .
Put a little of everything in the pond. That's what makes it so fun you have opportunities to fish for different ones. Bass catfish bluegill pike muskee crappie flatheads.
Small body of water and flatheads will eat everything in it.
Northern pike would be so fun in the warehouse pond. Aggressive fish a lot of your viewers probably don’t catch a lot of!
Pike or musky it’s my dream fish but I’ve never caught one
@@HoldenLowrance-hu5ci come to Wisconsin, pike are in every lake and eat every lure You throw!

Nice video. I have an idea, you should have a fishing derby for youngsters once you stock them. Would be great local advertising for Beefcake Jerky!!
Would love a 24/7 live animal pen cam. Like if you agree
He won’t do it it’d possibly spoil videos and require maintenance and we all know papa Flair
@tristenevans6370 he could turn it off while filming and if something happens that would be in a video he could always turn it off so people don't notice as fast and get the video out sooner but yeah your point makes sense too

@@tristenevans6370 yeah. Man made ponds usually aren't as good as natural ponds and some little roadside ditches.
Hey Flair, love the vids but would absolutely love to see all of the prep for hunting season, putting in stands, food plots, the whole 9yrds. Just need some more Flair in my life !!!
The catch clean cook pond you should put northern pike, catfish, walleye, small mouth bass, and some perch
You should use the underwater drone to check the hatchery for fish count or use the GoPro on the painters stick
It's always a good day when Flair has a pond video! 🐟 🎣 😀
Fish feeder would help the warehouse pond big time! Right on the bridge or island.
Walleye, perch, catfish, crappie, and either muskie or pike
Short Flair videos are a tease... I need more.!!!
I'm happy to see a Nebraskan on RUclips!!! Hope the ponds do okay with the heat we have coming this week.
Can't wait for kitty cat time 🐸
Northern pike, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish would be awesome for the shop pond especially for catch clean cooks. Also make the pond deeper while making it larger and add structure too with cedar trees

Walleye would be sick at the warehouse pond.
but can’t you like only eat them certain times of the year
Walleye need deeper water and colder water to survive in the warehouse pond.
@@aliasfred Easy make it deeper
The pond’s and hatchery’s are looking great. Can’t wait to see some massive crappie in one of those ponds.
When’s the next auction video???
I was just wondering that same thing.I’m still a proponent for getting another camel for Ralph!
You should put the feeder on a floating dock. Something that will float the feeder out and then you pull it in with a rope to refill it.

Sheewwwww flair you need to stock some slab crappie in the warehouse pond so we can see some slab catch and cook and winter ice fishing out of it

Good ol pond economy trophies coming to a future Flair production near you!
Ralph never disappoints! 🐫 😀
Great video flair!!! I love the pond videos. Keep it up.
Should spread some native wildflower seeds around the ponds. It's good for the pollinators and will help attract bugs for the fish to forage on.
Get one of those feeders on the warehouse pond boardwalk. Grow some studs there !
For predators I would do catfish, rock bass and smallmouth. I think that those would be something different but also fun to catch and cook. Flair this pond should be an EXOTIC fish pond
Build a floating dock on drums you can keep pulling up as the water goes up, maybe even put it on some wheels. Then put the feeder at the end of the dock.
Northerns in this pond would do amazing I think, if your only wanting it to be catch and cook crappie and perch would also be a great addition
You could build a floating platform for the feeders, then place them where you want them and anchor them down with small ropes, chains or cables so that they don't move around.
Flair I love u and Jake and Banjo!!!!
on a roadtrip home and the timing of this post came in clutch 🤙!
You should put one muskie in the warehouse pond and see how big it gets once the baitfish population is established
You should put a bluegill feeder on the warehouse pond also. Help them get bigger. For the bass n catfish
Its a great day when flair drops!❤
Now you gotta put in some yellow perch into the warehouse pond!!
You should stock it with flathead catfish. They are the absolute best eating fresh water fish and get really big !
Flair I suggest for the big pond you get a floating automatic feeder it’ll work where ever you want it.
