Love this video!! An individual at my church has recently spoke about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and how they want to ensure they implement it in our structure. But, I feel uneasy about it all because Jesus is who fulfills us. We should be coming to church to dig deeper into the word, and not looking for the amenities that will be served (food, coffee, etc.). I just didn't know how to word it. Thank you for doing it in a way that's understandable. God bless.
Would you have ever taught this lesson without Maslow's teaching? I agree with your assessment, but the one error is that we grow in Christ just as people grow in Maslow's theory. The teaching is great but implies that as soon as we come to Christ then all is taken care of. If that were the case then there would be no need to renew our minds with the truth.
Hi Dan, not an error but omission, I totally agree, if your not growing your dying, so daily feed on the Word and drink in the living Water. Thanks for pointing that out. RJ
@Miguel Cisneros The video shows God's Word is superior to humanism and what the humanists demand to achieve full human potential, God gives freely to all who would respond to Him. Showing the superiority of God's Word over the reasoning of men. Sorry you didn't see it that way.
