Exploring Buckhorn Lake, Ontario for the first time and pre-fishing for the Kawartha Kayak Fishing Club annual bass tournament. Found some fish and had a good time as always. Enjoy!
I fished upper Buckhorn Lake, and only really covered a small fraction. It is a typical Kawartha lake with lots of weeds and good lily pad areas. I had good success with top water in the morning, once that died down I covered as much water as I could with swimjig, weed less swimbait, chatterbait and spinnerbait. Wacky senko also delivered some fish around isolated targets. I launched at this public launch 44°29'41.8"N 78°24'45.1"W 258-250 Kawartha Hideaway Loop, Harcourt, ON goo.gl/maps/XetDjDFiXPZkv1tg9

Looks like a good day on the water to me.
Always fun, especially when you have no expectations and get surprised by a couple of good fish 😁
Nice catches! Is this on buckhorn lake or lower buck lake?
