Isn't it true that Korean couples are expected to have a child within 2 years of marriage. If they are unable to, for whatever reason, they may divorce and try to build a family with someone else. Isn't this what SJK did? His wife wasn't interested in starting a family and didn't take the time to join his family when major events occurred. Meanwhile, no one could have seen her husband with his nephews and not realize that he was eager to start a family. It seems she never made any compromises for the marriage to work.

The biggest issue with the SJK was not that he marrie da foreigner but the way he treated SHK it would seem to have been pretty diabolical and she kept quiet and was gracious and people are not stupid he tried to portray her as the villain when it becamse failry obvious she was the victim and the fact that the new wife was not only foreign but pregnant then threw questions over fidelity into the ring - he done himself no favour and personally I think celebrity or not treating people inthis way should have consequences - and to the new wife - if he treated his first wife thus there is every chance you will not fair any better and if you indeed started in this relationship knowing he was married then you wouldn't necessarily be the kind of person who would think that through either
