- Bank loan officer Warren Cribbens (Michael Moriarty) cracks his eyeglasses and discovers he can see the future through them, showing that his efforts to help a farmer avoid foreclosure are doomed to fail.
Happy Thanksgiving to all you other TZ fans! I've watched the orignal twilight zone marathon every thanksgiving sence 1980 this is the first time with the post ROD version. He would have loved this episode.
🌹RIP ROD 🌹
Thanks for the memories
Rod Serling had the Biggest Imagination and Unique Story telling Abilities, I wish he and John Newland ( One Step Beyond ) could have Coloraberated together on Night Gallery
I watched the original as a kid, so married with 2 kids and 2 jobs I didn't have a chance to see this in 85, pretty good, thank you.
Love the soundtrack when he puts the glasses on
yeah he reads different because of it
where?
@@musicishappiness-ii3ip in the office and on the farm
I remained single since my Hubby passed 15 years ago not even interested in going for coffee with anyone. That would change if that sweet man crossed my path. 😊❤
The character profiles and actors the cast in the roles really give TZ it's humaness and relate ability.
Never trust a boss who says " we can discuss your salary later"
❤ such a sweet man
JUST NOW found your channel!! So glad I did!!👍👍💯💯
The blonde actress who played Sandy also voiced Spiral in X-Men: The Animated Series.
Awesome Spiral.
And the late David Hemblen, who is also is in this episode, and whose name appears above Cynthia's in the beginning of this episode, voiced Magneto in X-Men: TAS. So, this episode features two voice actors from X-Men TAS
with all the unfairness we’re constantly bombarded with this episode is a feel better tonic. 😊
Tonic? You from the 1800's?
@@TotalDec…. i’m from way before to forever.

You know,if i could,i would help people out too....
You can, you’re just unwilling.
@@arrownoir I give money to panhandlers and such...I'm just not rich yet...
@@joejacobs3537 I wish I could help as well. We can do little things. Even giving a kid a toy. But I would never give money to panhandlers because I don't know if I'm funding their drinking or drug habits or not.
This episode really nailed the feeling of small town life.
This a great episode
Joskus naurattaa nämä videot ! ❤ Greetings from Finland.
FAB CHANNEL!!!!
Just Subscribed!
All GREAT Series
MUCH THANKS!!
Cool Flippin episode man!
I think that's the lead guy from The Stuff, Michael Moriarty.
Never seen a bank that had more tellers and employees than customers.
I was a bank teller back in the 1980's. Very proud to have been one. These days, banks seem to care a bit less for customer service. But you need to shop selectively. They are out there. You know, the ones that don't have BIG advertising dollars as in, "what's in your wallet" BS.
@@randymillhouse791 Good to know! Thank you.
Farmers State Bank.... works better as a credit union.. less humans
It was possible on a slow day in the big money of the 80s!
Only in the Twilight Zone!
A penny for your thoughts...
I’m sorry but the farmer was wrong for accepting the loan
Beautiful ❤
With him being such a exact precise person he would’ve got new glasses and that’s the end of the episode
He could put them on out of habit. He could just make do with using them until he leaves the office. But even aside from those reasonable explanations, enjoying a story with a few pinholes in it is okay.
Why would you get rid of the glasses?
they are really broken now.
because the glasses had fulfilled their purpose plus they were a burden.
Made no sense. Tried to copy twilight zone penny for your thoughts, with Dick york, which ended better & made more sense
But why he did not ask for the secretary's number? They seem to like each other a lot
Fired doesn't mean he can't come back.
He does have a bank account there.
Yeah 😕
Seems like a small town. He'll run into her at the local diner.
@@SantaBarbaraBiking I hope so - it would be nice to see part 2 of this video
shes actually a bank teller a hot one at that!
