Good video. You have the majority of the settings that I use, with the exception of ammo loss on reload. Like you said, it's not realistic to throw away unused ammo, but then you could say it's unrealistic to reload your weapon after firing off a few rounds (something I'm guilty of doing in competitive shooters). Ammo loss on reload will teach you to conserve your ammo, and make every shot count, therefore, I think that would be the most realistic option.
That's a great point! If only they'd implemented a reload system similar to the Insurgency games, where you can do a quick reload and throw away the mag, or do a slow reload and retain the mag. Maybe in the next game!
@@KommandrKody I never got round to playing the Insurgency games, but that sounds like a great method. There are so many little things that could be implemented into the next GR game which would make it amazing. I'm not a fan of dumbing games down for the console generation, but not against opening up a tactical game to your average gamer. Give us the choice to adjust game settings to our needs, like when they added the immersion mode, which is easily the best way to play, but easy enough to switch settings to suit your playstyle. I was late to the party with GRB, but I've been playing Ghost Recon games for over 20 years. I wasn't a fan of GRW on release, it felt too much like an open world shooter like GTA, very action orientated. I tried the demo of GRB on release, and was not impressed. Just recently I re-installed both games again, and boy have they come a long way since launch. I'm loving them, although I have definitely put more hours into Breakpoint.

I remember playing on launch day and quitting about an hour into it because I was so bored 😂 But they've done a lot to fix it up and I can definitely respect that. I just hope now that they listen to the fans and consider what we REALLY want in these games and then maybe give us the GR game of our dreams within the next few years!

Thank you very much for the wonderful settings, I would personally recommend to shorten the Explanation parts but overall everything is amazing. It`s rare to see small RUclipsr`s post great and professional content like this one, of course this kind of settings are based on what the user wants but I Personally want to thank you for making this Amazing Video. I watched a few videos on immersive settings, and you explained things better than most. Not sure I really like immersive, lots of things I would change about it, but at least I'm trying it. For some reason I cant change the resolution in this game while playing on fullscreen mode. I searched on the internet for a fix but nothing worked... I really wanna play this game but I just cant because the resolution is stuck on 720p... Can somebody help?
Whithout cloud detection the game vould become a little bit to hardcore for my liking, but some days I just want it to be hardcore as hell, so I turn everything off and install the spartan mod on
I like playing immersive. Occasionally I'll run three guns with everything still on. Sniper rifle for certain mission types. I really with that they changed the animation for having three weapons. It would have looked more realistic if the player dropped their primary infront of their chest rather then the back. For instance when your character display's he or she is cold and trys to warm their hands. That animation would have looked much better when switching to side arm
I actually set the FOV to max, and then change the camera distance to close. I play on a 1440p, 27-in monitor And I don't feel like the FOV is too wide!

Turning off Cloud Detection and HUD Enemy Tagging is a must. Otherwise it's a shooting game for a child.
